There is a big possibility that the game will be postponed because of the closing of the Bombonera and not enuff time to move it to a different stadium. If this happens, the game can only be played after Boca is done with the Libertadores Cup 2007 ... anywhere between May 16th and June 27th. ;)
Now ... lets assume the game is being played this Sunday, live on Fox Sports Espanol for those in the US. Apparently, Cata will be given a rest for the game ... which could mean the return of Silvestre in defense along Morel in the center of defense. Neri is out for 5 yellows, so probably Datolo will start again. The rest of the team should be the same.
Caranta
Ibarra - Silvestre - Morel - Clemente
Ledesma - Banega - Datolo
Roman
Palacio - Palermo
Would you guys keep the rest of the team ahead of the game with Velez on Wednesday? Or would you give the start to Boselli and Marioni as yesterday's end of the game? Should Boca rotate ... or replace players when needed?
On another note, today, after 4 1/2 months, Krupoviesa trained for 20 minutes. He will probably be added to the Libertadores list along Chavez (an enganche) and Bertolo ... out of the Libertadores list would be Guille, Villafane, and maybe Cahais.

As far as rotating guys, I think it depends on their physical condition. I think it has to be a decision made by the coaching staff with imput from the trainers and physical conditioning personnel, based on the way each player is responding physically to the grind. But other than that, I'd like to see the starters against a traditional rival like Racing.
Datolo played well last night, hopefully he can build on that and have another strong performance.
Nice to hear about Krupoviesa coming back, he will give us another defensive option.

Jesus Christ, Riquelme has missed about 3 clear goals. Boca has wasted every good chance they get.
The defense is shakey as hell.
EDIT: Palermo's PK is blocked but it was only fair since it wasn't a PK in the first place.
Palacio is playing great and very unselfish but we haven't been able to finish.
And now it seems Silvestre is injured .

Gol de Riquelme! Great play with Palermo.
And right after he hits the post!
It's all Boca in the second half.
Vamos Boca!

A masterful performance. Hell I don't know why one of the Racing players don't just fall over like Palacio does.

favale doing a great job.
You don't get it: they were trying to do a repeat of Palermo's record-breaking 3 penalty misses in one game. It's all part of Fox's Reto Final series, where they do remakes of previous events. Unfortunately, Palermo messed up and scored the second one.
Edit: Post #2,700. :)

You wish you had a forward half as good as Palacio playing for River right now .
How nice to see the gallinas coming out of the woodwork to talk shit now after their Libertadores embarrasment.
Where's leoriver? When I go talk shit on your threads he throws a crying hissy fit.

i just said in a sarcastic matter that favale did a horrible job, for both however the penalty for racing was a lot more contact than the boca one.

Silvestre barely but his hand on the guy's shoulder. I also think the ball hit the Racing player's hand. In Palacio's one the player got in his way and there was a bit of contact but real minimal. Either way neither of them were penalties.
He ********ed up alot but that screwed Boca in the end so I don't wanna hear the typical bitterness that the refs favor Boca .

Resucitaste boludo!! Que vas a hacer el Miercoles? Queres ver la Copa en casa? Se que te gusta ver buen futbol. :D
And yes ... Favale fuct up on all penalties. But to condone a hand, in the 45th minute, in front of La 12, was the climax of his fokin up. But I blame Silvestre and Caranta there. Non of them claimed for the handball. Not even an intent. This should never happen ... I'm sure that Russo will have a good talk with both, as this could happen in the Libertadores as well.
To me, it is not that Roman shouldn't had been taken off. It is that both Battaglia and Orteman were played. The game was a lot more for Marino to have the ball than to have more than one out of form defensive midfielder. And he placed them in reverse positions. Seba needed to be in the middle, next to Banega. And Orteman on the right. Seba's bad form is alarming. Don't know what's up with him.
How much was Neri missed for yet another silly yellow against Newells. And now that Russo wanted to place mostly subs against Argentinos, Datolo got his 5th yellow.

I don't know about leo, but I too like good football, so maybe I'll watch Boca-Velez: when Zarate, Castroman, and Escudero are having a good day, Velez kills out there. ;)

What is La 12 going to do? Blow their trumpets at the guy? :D

well velez with 3 good forwards always kills and boca defense is having trouble. but if there's one team that can mess it up is velez, also therre was a foul that riquelme called himself that was one of the worst ones, but la doce is going to complain to la policia, and to grondona.

No, it's that most of your posts consist of the same things:
I hate Boca, the refs favor Boca, the police favors Boca, Riquelme es un pecho frio, you buy other team's players, solo le dan 3,000 entradas, ext.... repeat x inifinity.
I've lost count of the amount of times you've said the same shit over and over.
I think I've barely seen you write on here about San Lorenzo. Most of your posts are about Boca.
We get it you don't like Boca, no need to keep reminding us by complaining about the same shit all the time .
