If he hates Jesus then I have serious beef with him.

George Clooney makes Jose Mourinho look like Dirk Kuijt.
Also, I hear that Mourinho bathes in the tears of children, and eats only the flesh of endangered species.

I hear that Mourinho never turns off the lights in his office when leaving work for the day.

there was a man who failed to see
that his luck was running out

muareens moaning
and he's lost the ********ing plot
lost the ********ing plot

in an interview with sky
he ranted on to richard keys

we dont concede penalties
but the fact is he's a nob
with a short memory
cos if the rules were followed right

muareens moaning
and he's lost the ********ing plot
lost the ********ing plot
lost the ********ing plot

Even though Mourinho is frequently full of many things, including himself, I wouldn't compare him to Keegan. His teams don't collapse easily, nor is he willing to sacrifice results for the sake of entertaining football. Granted he has riches never enjoyed by any manager previously, but then Newcastle were spenders too in Keegan's time, just not on the same level.
Mourinho might have some bizarre comments, but when you have an unlimited transfer budget and the kind of squad they do, you could tell people that cows live on the moon if you wanted.

I take it you've seen the vid?
Basically, Newcastle were on top of the league for a long time that season and United chased them down relentlessly (Thanks Eric :D ) and were top of the league at that point. The interview was live on TV right after Newcastle had drawn 1-1 with Nottingham Forest in the penultimate game of the season.
A few days earlier, Fergie had come out in the press and made a comment about teams (Leeds) trying harder against United than they did against Newcastle. He also said that he hoped Stuart Pearce (Nottingham Forest) would try as hard against Newcastle as he always did against United. Now that I think about it, I don't think he specifically named Pearce but just alluded to him or Forest in general. I could be wrong though.
He didn't really say it with any great emotion either IIRC and don't believe it was even reported in all the papers. It was just a bit of an off the cuff remark designed to get under Keegan's skin and perhaps motivate Forest for their game with the barcodes.
It worked, and after the game with Keegan feeling all of the pressure of the title race and perhaps facing up to reality that they were no longer going to win it he just blew his top.

Now he's making excuses for his team in case they don't win the title. Full of BS.

This rant from Mourinho about penalties is clearly aimed at refs, with the aim of influencing to give penalties against United.
Mourinho is not the first manager to try this tactic. Complain that your opponents get an unfair advantage and put pressure on refs.
We have had some luck but, not with injuries.

Exactly - the main guy who trots this out is none other than fergusson.
Glasshouses etc.
Whatever you want to say about Mourinho, he is the most skillful media operator since Beckham.

Glad you raised that.
Fergusson is very very experienced with the media. He's like some wily old CEOs i've come across - the type who take no shit from journos and eat them for brekkie if they feel like it. However that is quite a reactive stance. Fergie is very very old skool.
JM actively courts the media. He gives them exactly what they love - which is great content. They love him and they hate him. Many of those hacks would love to get a knife in his back. Cut him down to size. But on several occassion this year when it looked like they might have a chance, he turned it all around on them.
Jose is a media celebrity in his own right - just like Beckham. Fergusson openly detests that. For him the media is a necessary (and useful) evil.
Incidentally the only time I've seen Fergusson out foxed in the press was by Beckham over the 'boot'. I think that was a pretty clear indication of who holds the whip hand these days when it comes to media.
EDIT: Please accept this post in the spirit it is written. i.e a serious attempt to look at the media profiles of these two coaches. I am not at all cheerleading the guy/team etc.
