Cheers,

I can tell you with certainty that USA Supporters was not started to encourage posts, comments, and fan bashing like this. The guys in the picture came to the Seattle from DC. Brought the Rattler and were instrumental in trying to get the quiet Seattle fans to chant. Just this year alone either one or both of them have been to the Canada, Argentina, Ven, NZ game and are planning on the Columbus game and the Gold Cup games. Where the hell were you for these games.

For all the smoke and some of the early bashing of SA on the listserve the fundamental purpose of USA Supporters is to support the team. It is an alternative to SA.

We support SA. We support every US fan. We just want to provide an alternative section for fans with an alternative atmosphere.

The main problem with most US fans is that they love getting on BS or on a listserv and running their mouths, but when game times comes those with the biggest mouths are no where to be seen.

Signed,
One of the fat ass guys (who is wearing a large long sleeve under shirt and a large t-shirt over that :) )

Hmm..I dunno about that one buddy..seeing as I'm bigger older and have been in more fights than you, I probably wouldn't run, but if you want to challenge my manhood over an Internet message board and if makes you feel better go ahead, it doesn't bother me at all, in fact I dont know why were talking about fighting at a USA Soccer game? Its pretty amusing, I guess.

alright, u are a superfan, but for your own health my man . . .

I will not be at the Paraguay game, in fact, the only game i've been since Japorea is last november's el salvador match. I might be at the first Gold Cup match but that all depends on me getting a ticket right now. Just don't have the cash and seeing as so many of the matches coincided with crunchtime dates for me, I don't feel too bad about not being there. When the quallies start, so long as one of the 3 things i place over matches isn't in the way, I'll be there.

Wow, that was a lot of talkin bout me.

I feel better now.

Wow this thread has really deteriorated since the last time I checked in. Why on earth should any US fans ever get in these kinds of arguments? We are still enough of a minority in this country that we need to be a united community both in spreading the gospel of soccer and in supporting the Nats. The bickering on this thread does nothing to support either of those goals. While we may disagree about tactics, styles of support (the ongoing debate about profanity in chants) and have serious ethical issues, I would think that there is more than enough room in the stadium for two groups of people who are at the end of the day extremely passionate about soccer. I for one perfer the younger more profane style of the Supporters, but I have absolutly no problem standing with anyone who is wearing red and chanting the entire game regardless of how they do so. At the end of the day, the path that this thread has taken is extremely disapointing for someone who has taken nothing but the positives from being part of the USsoccer community and bigsoccer

I know for sure some of the ESC-USA guys who had a grand ol time in Korea singing for the Yanks will be there this Saturday doing the same for Metro and the US.

Question is, will you?

Put up or shut up boyz. Put up or shut up.

You know we'll be down and try to be as loud as possible...

How about YOU?

That's it! I'm tired of all this pointless rivalry, macho posturing, chest-thumping, who's fatter now, who yells louder, and who's logo is less liscensed.

I'm going to start my own supporters group - taking our national flower (the rose) as a symbol. We'll wear red, bring red petals to throw on the field, and have really enthusiastic chants for the cutest NATs players on the field.

We'll not only have a weight/height healthy ratio requirement, but we'll ban anyone from our section who doesn't follow our style code.

With the fine fillies and the gay lads this group will attract, I'm sure my group will be the best looking in the stands. Because that's what really matters, no?

Now accepting design submissions for the logo - which can include the rose's thorns! Remember, be worthy!

i think i'm noticing a pattern evolving between the DC bhoyz and ESC's....the DC guyz seem to provide the support here and ESC's seem to bring it abroad. Other than that I haven't really noticed any other locales making a name for themselves. If DC or ESC is there ish will be goin down loud, fo sho.
