Barely worth a new thread, but didn't really fit anywhere else.

Just wanted to point out how lucky we have been with the entire process of moving to our new stadium. It's sad to be out of Highbury, but really, we couldn't have asked for the building project to go better. It was done on time, efficiently, at cost, and is a beautiful facility.

We are lucky it all went to plan, or we really could have been screwed (ahem... Wembley).

Emirates Stadium has been honoured in the 2007 Building Awards.

Arsenal’s 60,000-capacity stadium scooped the Building Project of the Year Award while Sir Robert McAlpine, the company responsible for the £275million project, won Major Contractor of the Year.

I think that's great. Show's the organization pulled this off the right way and is dedicated to the club and the fans.

Any word on the 5 star designation from UEFA?

Does this mean our stadium is better than the shithole that is "its built 10 years late" Wembley?

Having been to both I'd say Wembley is better.

What? No pictures of the stewards changing room or of cold grey stairwells?

So this is the guy who pisses off the whole crowd by repeatedly telling us what the best way to go home of the tube is. I remember this was worst at the Boro game when we were trying to score an equalizing and then winning goal and his loud mouth came on the PA system every 5 minutes. Still seems like a cool guy though.

You're stewards, for christ's sake. No one likes you, you're not supposed to get nice changing rooms. :p
