The Yanks are coming to The Grove!!
Quick...grab your women and children.
No one is safe, I kid, I kid.
McBride is from Arlington Heights, IL (a city I called home for 5 yrs of my life. Footie is very popular in this part of the Chicago suburbs).
So what you say? Fulham has been very kind to American footballers and I just want to say, "thank you."
That being said there isn't any reason what so ever that Arsenal shouldn't rip Fulham to pieces EXCEPT that we have an unpredictable, but talented side.
My Prediction: 2-1 to The Arsenal.
Go on Arsenal!!!

I will take a 3-1 win for the Gunners. Ade, Rosicky, and Cesc for the Arse, McHead for Fulham.

I wish I was as positive as you, but we are limping toward the finish line this season.

.................Lehmann......................
Eboue.....Toure.....Gallas...Clichy......
Hleb...Diaby...Gilberto...Cesc...Rosicky
......................Ade........................
I'm assuming we'll go with something like this.
I wouldn't mind seeing Hoyte in for Eboue.

Arsenal 2 (Gilberto, Toure) Fulham 1 (Bocanegra). Arsenal get 2 goals late in the first half, play keep away for the 2d half. Carlos Bocanegra scores late for Fulham to give the USA & Chicago Fire fans something to smile about.

The last few games have been a little better for Arsenal. Fulham have been playing awful lately. I have not seen enough of their new coach to make out how much of an impact he will have. They have a loss (1-0 Reading) and a draw (1-1 Blackburn) under him.

I think we are not playing that bad. We're leaking goals, but we are attacking and outplaying opponents over the last three games.

this is our last chance to get our anual 7-0 thrashing
but i predict 4-0, sorry:D
with us getting an early cesc goal and then steam rolling them with a brace from rosicky and a toure goal.

I could care less about OSU or UM. I have been to both Columbus and Ann Arbor. Gotta say Ann Arbor (Univ. of MI) is a more beautiful city and vastly better university. OSU may be very good at sports, but UM is miles ahead academically.

I think we'll go down through a McBride goal but come back through Cesc and Ade. 2-1 to the Arsenal!

5-1 to the Arsenal, after going up 5-0, so that I can cheer unabashedly for a goal by the greatest player in the history of the Columbus Crew and the US national team. Please don't let McBride score when the game is still in doubt, as I want so bad to be able to be proud of him. By the way, was DMB the first American ever to score against the Arsenal?

Last chance for the 7-0 of this season:p I think we've been really coming along recently, grinding out results when we need to, though last weeks finish left a lot to be desired...I say 4-0...rare clean sheet, two for Ade, one for Rosicky, and one for Gilberto off a corner.

how about a clean sheet and Arsenal score a goal, just a goal that is all I want, with the clean sheet of course.

This would be a nice change for once.
However seeing as im American ill go for a 3-1 scoreline. I think its allowable to be 3-0 up and then let an American score 1.

3-1 seems to be the popular score line but i see a 5-0 Arsenal victory to bring us all back to thos days when we used to go up 3-0 half-hour into game

we have pretty much cemented 4th position after doyle and zamora put away our closest competition.

I loved those days. Watched the highlights of the 7-0 Everton the other day and the 7-0 Boro match. Something about being up like that and Highbury was just fantastic. It'd be great for it to happen at the Grove on Sunday.
