I'm looking for some new indoor shoes and usually I buy the sambas, but recently I was looking at the adidas super sala. Are they a good shoe? And also, what are the actual differences between the super sala and the top sala (besides the top sala being described as a futsal shoe)?
Thanks
I had the Top Sala VII ... which I could find them again, I don't know about the design of the news ones looks like garbage. The VIIs were great, but I wore them around and played on turf with them so they didn't survive much past 2 seasons.

Sorry to go off topic but is it me or am I not the only one that wishes the boot companies would put out top tier astroturf trainers again instead of the lower model converts. In this I mean, Adidas produced the F50 in turf and the Predator Precision and Accelerator (which was amazing) in turf. Nike produced the Total 90 (Edgar Davids) as its top model and others instead of the rubbish mercurial steams, veloci etc. Would be good to see some ultra-light Vapor turfs/indoor shoes or hell even a flywire superfly in turf! The Predator turfs no longer have the grip on the front which was why I even started to wear them! Sorry to go on a tangent but just a bit nostalgic today!
Agree totally.
The only Adidas model that last had the top of the range convert to indoor version is Adipure... Actually I think it might have stopped now with Adipure II.
I just picked up a pair of these in K leather. Total luxury. I had the AdiNova and they were very solid boots too.
Or try the Copa indoors. Still sport K leather like their FG/SG cousins!

Any cool turf shoes anyone can reccomend that are white?
I want me some Nike's in white or a cool color, but the models they have come out and the combo of colors dont really attract me.

I have a pair of the adi5 in blue/orange. They are very comfortable, the rubber grip on the top and the soles are very tacky and work great on turf.
Someone else asked "noone has these here? just curious about reviews and sizing. theres a few good reviews on soccer.com, and two people have expressed they run BIG while the rest have said they run true to size."
I wear a 10 1/2 normally. And I have a 10 1/2 in these. They run about 1/4 size big, not really much....If i purchased and tried them on locally, then I would have gotten a size 10.

actually that was me that asked about the adi5s lol
thats good to hear about the sizing. i found a pair of those white/blue ones and wasn't sure to get size 11.5 or 12 (i wear 12s normally) so hearing they run a tad big i got the 11.5s.
cant wait to get them in the mail! think if they are as good as you say i might pick up a pair of the yellow/black ones as well...

yeah thanks for the reply trueport
i live in australia and i admit that the indoor shoes over here are overpriced, the shoes i mentioned are approx $100 AUD over here, but shoes hav to fit perfectly so its better to try them on and see wat they are like. (dun want to buy online and then find out that they are 1/2 size too big or small).

anyone have these? curious if you could give me a review.
ok well i ended up buying a pair of these on ebay, but in this colorway:
http://www.soccer.com/Images/Catalog/ProductImages/600/197170.JPG
have not played in them, but ill give an initial review on these adi5s:
THEY ARE AWESOME. lol....first off, they look great in my opinion, ill probably wear them around as street shoes because they look sick with blue and/or white clothing lol
second, AMAZINGLY COMFORTABLE. perhaps its just my feet finding a turf boot with a last that matches, but probably the most comfy soccer boot i have ever worn. seems to be a bit on the narrow side, which suits me quite nicely. no swimming of my feet in the boot. also, very cushy insole without feeling like my foot is high off the ground, something i feel with the copa indoors and turf boots. dont get me wrong, i love my team mundial turfs and copa indoors, they have very good cushioning for a turf/indoor, but the heel (especially on the turf mundial) seems a bit high up....these adi5s feel cushioned yet low to the ground, a good balance. some other turfs ive tried on felt low to the ground, but thin and hard on the foot.
honestly these feel more comfy than some running shoes i have.
another thing: i wear size 12 in street shoes and synth boots, 11.5 in k leather boots. these are not k leather, but i got a 11.5 because i heard they run a touch big. these fit me just right. snug, but definitely not so snug my toes are going to hurt. actually just perfect. someone said they seem to run a .25 big, and i would agree....these dont feel like 11.5s, they feel like 11.75s lol.
the soleplate is a very grippy non marking rubber....they can be used for both indoor and turf. they have the little rubber nubs like most turf boots, but each nub seems to have a notch in it for traction. we'll see how they perform in my indoor artificial grass league.
also, the top blue part is some sort of rubberized grippy material that has light notching. should be interesting to see how those affect spin or catching volleys and whatnot....
have only played some keepy up in them, but i can tell im going to really like playing in these. in fact i think im going to buy that yellow/black pair because i just found them online for 39 bucks in my size, well worth it.
i think these are now discontinued, but if you find these in your size and need a good turf boot, i totally recommend it. i suggest getting a half size down from your street shoe size, but honestly if you got your normal sizing i dont think it would really matter much. however, if you have wide feet, these may be a little pinchy on the sides of your feet.....like i said, they are a bit on the narrow side.
