Man, that pic reminds me of how much I miss Colombian food in NY!! It's just not as available in L.A.!!

TRUST ME....you're lucky. As delicious as it is, I can't imagine the calories in one bandeja paisa...

what kills me tho, is that in some colombian restaurants you just blowing your money, they use frijoles enlatados y recalentados for their "bandeja paisa," I went to this joint in FL once, where, of course we were dumb enough to order bandeja paisa, man what a horrible bandeja, the rice tasted all funky, the beans were clearly "Goya Beans," I know what they taste like, I eat them at home too. We stopped eating, paid, and left to never return. The only good thing out of that place was La Panaderia, every morning while we were down there we went for buñuelos, empanadas, and everything for our colombian breaskfast.

Now on a more recent trip, we went to another restaurant, this one had the restaurant look, it was bigger, and in a place by itself, and the best thing from there was "Caldo de Ojo," hahahaha, las pechuguitas de las meseras were nice and tender :), o yea the food was good too....

That's a matter of opinion, pibe10. In my opinion, English football is the most beautiful and exciting football in the world. The only football that even comes close is in Spain. And, btw, you left out the team that plays the most beautiful football in the EPL, namely Arsenal Football Club. Too bad for Juan Pablo Angel that his reported transfer to Arsenal did not go through last season as he would have had great service from Fabregas, Gilberto, Ljunberg, Berkamp, Henry, etc... "Grey Workers"? Every team in the world has those. Most teams wish they had the likes of Keane and Viera in their ranks. I would say to you that Italian teams, not English teams, are based on "Grey Workers". English teams certainly have them but not to the extent of the Italians. Anyway, now Juan Pablo has joined the next best thing to Arsenal. Ha, ha! Come On Red Bull, Come On Red Bull!

wow, i thought he would i've gone back to argentina, but red bulls huh?? Well i'm a metro fan but he should have a decent amount of goals in the MLS. How much did they pay for him?

Even though it's not directed for me, thanks for the info!!

Jackson Heights is my old neighborhood & my mom still lives there but I don't remember ever going to listo el pollo!! Just another place I'll have to check out when i go!!

As far as JPA, anybody know how long the government "paperwork" will take & when JPA's first game with RBNY will be??

I checked my Galaxy schedule and, unfortunately, RBNY doesn't come to Cali until October 18 (Primetime Thursday on ESPN2) but, believe me, I will be ready to greet JPA and hope to have him sign my Colombian jersey!!

That's the pic we never saw, with the special uniform JPA will be wearing for his first game, I guess to score on headers will be difficult now, oh and Red Bulls will have a new sponsor and will officially change their name to Red Burros NY and that's "conchita" the mascot...shes colombian.

---to the question about money: They said they will pay him 2m USD per year.

On Tuesday, the Red Bulls officially introduced their newest signing and second designated player, Juan Pablo Angel, to the media at the team's Montclair State University training facility. Here are some excerpts from the day.

Red Bulls forward Juan Pablo Angel

On the organization, both on the field and off the field:
"I'm just very impressed with everything in the time I've been here. I know that first of all we're a very good team. We're well balanced with good young players. Obviously as I said before we have the best manager in the league, without a doubt. We've got a great company behind us in Red Bull."

On sporting director and ead coach Bruce Arena:
"Sooner rather than later he's going to change the whole project in a positive way. He's going to bring success to this franchise."

On the team's camaraderie:
"There is a togetherness among the lads. I'm just excited to be part of it. I'm really looking forward to start working with the lads as soon as possible."

On why he chose to come in this week:
"I came here because I wanted to get the work permit as soon as I can."

Sporting director and head coach Bruce Arena

On Angel's addition:
"We obviously think that the addition of Juan Pablo will make us much stronger. We've missed an experienced striker and a player with a proven ability to score goals. So we brought this very fine player here to play immediately and hopefully make our team stronger on the field and off the field as well."

On how long he has seen Angel play:
"I have followed Juan Pablo for the last six to seven years, mostly observing his play with Aston Villa. As I said before, we felt that if Juan Pablo was available, he was the one we wanted and I really believe he will be a great addition to our team."

Technical director Jeff Agoos

On whether there is a timetable for Angel's work visa:
"We wanted it to happen yesterday to be honest. When you turn it over to the U.S. government, it's out of your control ... again, it's in their hands and we're trying to push it through as quickly as possible."

Ya esta en los estado unidos no sera mucho tiempo pa ver lo jugar en el Giants Stadium :D
