I enjoy playing in a indoor area rather than on a field just wondering? Since I will be living in the states very soon.

Most indoor is played with the walls.
However, there is a lot of futsal going on in at least tournament play.
I am not a great indoor football lover in any form.
I saw my first youth futsal tournament in NY in 1984 at long island university. None of the kids knew what it was all about at that time and they tried to air the ball.
Futsal was a training tool for the short passing game used in gyms. Then some how it was turned into a tournament game.

some places do and some dont... here in hawaii were have an indorr leauge and outdoor leauge too, usually the indoor leauge is like after the outdoor leauge ends...
I have played in both outdor and indoor, the both are fun to play but I like outdoor better but I do miss indoor though....

Different areas in the states have futsal. In my small town, we play futsal all winter long. We just played our last futsal game this morning.
I lived in Brazil for a couple of years and played a lot of futsal there. The style of play is a LOT different when played here IMO. Guys try to play it in the air too much.
But short answer - yes, there is futsal. You just have to find it....

Yes where I live...yes. But I played only 1 season and Futsal IMO, sucks...well different... It just has a different style to it. But all the futsal rules are all right except that the refs are ultra strict when you use body to shield the ball. And the thing I don't like about futsal is the ball. But that's just me. But my team used the Rolinho Clube. It's alright. The league I played in was NOT off the wall. But here in US, if you use your body or hands at waist level to shield, you'll get a yellow card or get kicked out.

Alex408, futsal is non-contact (pretty much), so that's not too shocking - though a yellow or red seems slightly harsh.
No futsal where I live, but I can drive a couple hours away to a bigger city and play - though it's a pain. I know some people in my club were trying to start a league up, but most people here have no idea what futsal is so they just stick to indoor... which is a bit frustrating but such is life.
