Its funny how ppl say the chavs are running out of gas. ffs, look at the size of that squad. even with the injured, look at what they bring from the ********ing bench. Then look at our options. K ********ing rich

But they have the better squad situation thanks to our injuries. This league race is on a knife edge. I'm just happy that things are still in our own control. We'll have to beat Everton to keep it that way though.
Thank you Geordies!

I think he means the CL.
Either way, this is great great news. I actually think the Toon could really be a strong side with a fit Michael Owen and a stronger manager. They got the people (barring some defenders) to do the trick.
And did Jose just have his "KEEGAN MOMENT"! We are in his HEAD!

Reverse, upside down, back-to-front, loop-the-loop, inverted karma!!
That was so unexpected, and cured my hangover! He has been known somewhat for a few years now, but Steven Taylor is class (when not impersonating Elias from Platoon after a handball) and between our 2-2 draw and this, he is showing to be a bit of a big game player. Martins is somebody I definitely was off the mark on, being in the preseason camp of thinking he wouldn't be of much use. I remembered him as a player who used their pace mroe than their strength, because he can really hold his own physically when surrounded by players... he is also a lot smarter at doing the right thing in possession than he used to be, too. He has been smart at not running down blind alleys and giving silly passes when I have seen him this season.
Good to see and there was talk of Chelsea showing slight signs of fatigue in their last few games. It showed today as they were conserving themselves but then didn't haver the energy to really kick it from first to fifth gear as quick as they have done in the past (or at all today for that matter). Delighted with the result, and Jose has now lost it! :D
My heart completely stopped for the few seconds surrounding Joe Cole's last-gasp chance though. I wouldn't have been at all suprised to see that go in, and didn't get at all excited even once (Newcastle's chances aside) in the game until after that. Just... :D
