Difficult game ahead. A trip to the San Mames regardless of the Lions current league position is always a tricky affair. The level of quality in their ranks has diminished over the passed few seasons, however, the Basques love nothing more than beating Real Madrid so it's going to be tough. If we bring our A game then we should have no trouble whatsoever but we'll need to weather the storm in the opening spells of the match. They always go right for the jugular from the outset in this one so heres to hoping we can nick an early goal like last year.
If we win it's like killing 2 birds with one stone. Firstly we would have sustained our title push and secodnly we will be pushing Athletic closer to the door of La Segunda. How does it go? "Al segunda ah eh"! :D

Let's hope we aren't cuaght napping after the great victory over Valencia, the club has a great rivalry with the Basques over the years so I don't expect we will take them likely. Atheltic will concede there defense is average, but we need to stay focused at the back as well.

hey guys with barca losing inel madrigal.. i think this mtch will be the make or break of our rest of the season... if we drop points here then the season or la liga title is gone and we need to and must win here no matter how we do it but we must win coz barca play in camp nou next week....i hope we play grt and run out winners...
