GC up 2-0 in the 34th minute on two goals from Nunez. This is somewhat surprising since YB has been very dangerous and has had the majority of possession. Chappi has been quite dangerous as YB pressures the GC goal but the opportunistic Hoppers are getting it done.

Halftime with GC up 2-1.
Chappi finally got one in the 44th and in the 3 minutes of injury time, he threatened again.
YB is spreading the GC back line just too easily and Chappi is sprinting into the gaps unmarked. GC needs to get it together defensively or they will lose the championship.

Hi Chris - I wish I could see the game live (hell, if I were home I would probably be in Bern right now). Yeah, Chappi wants to get revenge badly for being "sorted out" by Marcel Koller once he took over after the 2001 championship.
Good thing it isn't working: YB - GC 1:3 :D

Yeah, nothing like SF2...
The 3-1 goal was a gorgeous diving header by Schwegler off a nice cross from Nunez.
GC pressuring on defense much better this half and maintaining possession much more effectively.
62nd minute and things look in control, YB is launching long balls to no one...

It is unbelievable what Nunez has done for us this year, he practically won the championship by himself. I sure hope he sticks around for next season, but it wouldn't surprise me if a big club comes and takes him away from us (Bayern Munich was looking at him a while back). One thing's for sure however - he won't come cheap for them...

87th minute - Nunez cracks a left footed bullet shot from 18 yards out.. GOAL...4-2 for GC...hundreds of GC fans storm the field and must be urged back into the stands.
Nunez hat trick and overall amazing performance. GC will be receiving more than a few offers to buy him.
Full time - 4-2 for GC...this time thousands of GC fans storm the field complete with fireworks.
