Looks like theres some interest in maybe bringing Juan Carlos Arce to european football, he was the first player i thought to going abroad to europe right next to Raldes. I think he would kick ass in italy. I knew by him doing good in corinthians since tevez came from there, europe was going to be watching their games and as i predicted hes sparked interest from his limited play coming on as a sub and sometimes starter, yet always consistantly netting a goal every other game. :)

id like to see him do well against big teams in Brasil first instead of their regional tourny.

Did he go back to Oriente Petrolero? There was no news in Brazil in regards to him leaving Corinthians. I thought Corinthians said they wanted to make money off him as one of the reason for bring him in last year. I don't understand their move..

He was on loan to corinthians for something like 150k from oriente, since then he's been sold i believe to qatari club al-arabi, IMO a bad move. He should have stayed in brasil, im surprised he didnt get good offers there.

A move to an Arabian club is always bad for a young player. The only thing you can get from there is money. I'm surprised Oriente didn't get any better offers for him.

He got a decent offer from a Korean club, but apparently the qatari club outbid them so he went for the money.

According to his Wki his contract with Al-Arabi ended in June and he's looking for a club. Maybe he'll show his stuff in DC on August 6th.

One can only hope, i have been talking about DC Getting him forever! I remember i damn near fell over when i found out Corinthians for a year loan(from Oriente/Tahuichi) got him cheaper than we got Franco Niell!!! He was at Corinthians for only 110k US, while niell was 150k!!!

haha I always liked Arce .... when we got Caberra at Cucuta(think he is going to Millos) ... I was hoping a team would go after Arce who I thought was the best on ur NT
The kid needs to come back to SA and hopefully go to a Sudamericana or Copa Lib team

It seems that Arce has some offers from Korea Again, i wonder if he goes? It seems Oriente doesnt want him to, and just to focus on getting better in bolivia and then i am sure excercising offers.
What do you think?
I think he should find a way to get to a team like Bolivar or Universitario on loan to get some looks from anyone outside bolivia.

I wonder if what you mention fuego, can be done, because it really is the best thing for him at this point. He has to show himself in international tournaments, unstead of wondering around the world without having anywhere to stay.

Yes, he needs to go somewhere to be seen, shit bring him to DC! Or go back to brasil, where he shined over there.

i agree with Bolivian Bolivianfuego, bring to DC! It would be great to see him play here and he would have a great chance to shine in international tournaments. Besides, i would love to see someone play up with Moreno instead of a crappy ass player like Emilio. If DC wants to come back to its form(before the Gallardo/Peralta injury), I think Arce is the Answer.
By the way, MLS is a great league in my eyes and is improving.

Sadly, i think if he comes he will be paired with emilio, and Moreno thrown to the bench when needed. But that would still be good as moreno is in his last year(s). So he could be that replacement we need up front. No one can touch his holding though(moreno).

Koreano is reporting he was signed by Seongnam. Regardless, there is no way DC United could afford him this season under their salary cap situation without getting rid of someone big.

Hey guys! Yeah, Arce signed with Seongnam today after failing to do so 6 months back. He is apparently signed with us on loan for 6 months. I guess if he impresses he will be permanently signed.

Hmmm... well we stated before that he was better off going there before, because the exposure that team gets to the EPL and other big leagues as they play friendlies against big clubs, do you have any friendlies they are playing anytime soon?
Any could you send us any info on him or pictures/ links to SOPCASTs to watch their games??? That would be GREAAATLY appreciated :)

Wow, i just found out that Arce went to Korea for a 6 months loan of 200k! DC(united) Could never affford him as the article states he was going to korea before for 1 year at 400k, and Al-Arabi offered more than that!
