Lets give this a try with the french, or living in France, BS members.

Who will get your vote ?

I don't vote since i'm Iranian, but if i could it would've been Ségolène Royale.

Weird coincidence. Our threads were started around the same time  .Did you start this thread while I was adding the poll to mine?

I started mine minutes before yours, but i don't mind which poll remains.

Can the mods merge these 2 threads ?

Yeah, we should probably merge them. The key differences between both of our threads is that I have the party affiliation of each candidate, and I use more French in my post. Also I have a day when my poll closes (April 24) since the official results of the first round are released on April 25.

I haven't made my choice yet !!! :o

I may have to resort to the decisiotron v.2007®, an invention of mine !

Erm, actually a pencil standing on the tip and then falling on a sheet of paper with several options (except two). Very efficient !

OK, I kid, there are mainly just two options if you wanna make an useful vote...I'm not talking about Sarko, of course...

Schivardi President ? That would be a change ! Nanbawan, maybe we should sell our votes on e-bay.

Looks like the elections are going to be very very close between Ségo, Arko, Bayrou and Le Pen ...

Damn ! I should have thought about it earlier. Hmm, let's pretend I have moral values not to do so...

:(

it would be a nightmare as far as i'm concerned.

But i'm sure a lot of people would think like us if it's Sarko. Some kind of a little Bush in command.

You hate Sarkozy that much?My guess is that it will come down to Le Pen and Sarkozy.

joke votes?

dunno at this point no polls are coming out so it's in the air, but even with the underlying spectre of closet Le Penistes, I'd wager on Sarko going up against the two big parties (UDF big, heheh!)

So Nico, Ségo it shall be :

Centre-right Mr Sarkozy won 30%, ahead of Ms Royal of the Socialists on 25.2%. Centrist Francois Bayrou got 18.3% and the far-right Jean-Marie Le Pen 11.5%.

Him, his methods, his ideas and his mafia. A good part of the UMP does too...But they have interests in supporting him at this point, of course. I definitely have a problem with the man and his ilk, much more than with the party he belongs to. Yup, the french society must be really screwed up (and poorly informed) if a majority of my compatriots are willing to put him in office.

Now, if he's eventually elected, I'll wait and see how it unfolds to take a decision.
