A lot of classic westerns (The treasure of Sierra Madre, High Noon)

Sooo many !
Citizen Kane comes to mind right now and I think I never saw Out of Africa entirely ; well that could be a subject for another thread : films you never saw entirely. For some reasons, I think Out of Africa would be well placed....
From this selection.
A few movies I haven't seen, but know I should:
Guess Who's Coming to Dinner
The Third Man
Mr. Smith Goes to Washington
Raging Bull
And I think I haven't seen Dr. Strangelove either...

Any Marx Brothers filmsLike, seriously? Duck Soup is something like 70 minutes long, on TMC constantly, and very funny. The comedy holds up better for Marx Bros movies than it does for, say, Harold Lloyd films. You should see this.
For me, I've never watched Gone With The Wind all the way through. Shoot me now.

Guess Who's Coming to Dinner
Don't feel bad about this one. Don't waste your time on it is my advice.
Any Marx Brothers films
Gotta echo obie here. Duck Soup is very, very funny. Although I disagree about the Harold Lloyd line.
Everything by Stan Brakhage.
And that Chinaman Naruse.
I lurve you.
Any Buster Keaton films.
Everyone likes The General, but I think if you closed your eyes and randomly picked from a giant pile of Keaton titles, you couldn't really go wrong. I personally love Our Hospitality and Sherlock Jr..
There are many pretty major films I haven't seen. Of famous people that posters would know about, I haven't seen Kubrick's The Shining.
Citizen Kane
The Third Man
any of The Godfather movies
many more that I can't think of

I would like to see some more Chaplin films, especially Modern Times as I loved The Gold Rush and the Great Dictator.
Also haven't yet watched Rules of the Game or 8 1/2...
I noticed that Turner Classic Movies is showing Plan 9 From Outer Space Saturday at 2:00 am ET, which I might have a look at, as it is a classic of a different sort: reputedly the worst movie ever made!
For those of you who haven't seen Dr. Strangelove, set your DVR's for 8:00 am ET saturday morning on TCM... I also noticed that the Stanley Kramer/Spencer Tracy film Judgement at Nuremberg is on TCM at 2:15 pm ET saturday. I have a feeling most people (my age, at least) haven't seen it, so I would like to take this chance to recommend it as I found it completely fascinating. Before you watch it, though, let me make clear that it is 3 hours long and is about a war crimes trial, so take that into account...
By the way, TCM is great!
