And they at least got an indoor team to watch. It's good that somepeople are taking initiative down there so they have a supporter base ready if MLS comes to town.
I have a feeling we'll be seeing a lot of them when the US starts playing games in Harrison.

What they should have done is just put up a black and white version until (if) they get a team and then change it accordingly

They should have put red and white. That way they can boo themselves (Santa) wearing those colors.

I'm going to assume you know Santa was being booed because he was skinny and so drunk he could barely remain standing on the field.

And Micheal Irving could have been paralyzed. :)
I also dig the gameday courtroom.
Hey, Eagles fans are unique. I can relate. I'm a Sox fan who stood up and applauded when Jeter got hurt opening day in 2003. My shipmates on the aircraft carrier looked at me in horror.

Sorry,
Real Sox fans wouldn't have done that, ever. A-rod perhaps, but Jeter never.

Why anyone would get up and actually applaud an injury, no matter who the player is, is beyond me.

Trust me, I used to feel that way too. But having grown up a bit (a little tiny bit), I've realized it's just much better to be the team that kicks those jackasses out of the playoffs. Beating them is still the best retaliation. :)

So the 200 people who walked by Jeter sitting in a window seat at a Boston restaurant and gave him the bird weren't Sox fans? I guess the ones who kissed his butt were the Sox fans, huh?
Pre-2004 World Seies Sox nation was a different animal.
