Not bad- it'll work- but I seem to remember Harry was going to make this the comeback game- I'll believe it when I see him walk on to the field.

Any more news on injuries from last night? Momo isnt serious apparently.

won't he be in danger of injuring himself for the Chelski game?

(where's that dripping with sarcasm icon?)

Sorry Batch. We'll take a one goal win and the CL play-in berth locked.

I would imagine that hes gonna rest guys, also. maybe even gerrard gets a seat since alonso had a day off wed. gonzalez and sami in there? Peltier anyone? the not-ready-for-prime-time Palletta? naa. but hes gonna look to rotate like wheel of fortune.

That's hilarious. My buddies and I were watching the Boro game and laughing that good ole Harry will probably be fit enough to start the Champions League final in Athens, but will have to come off at the 30 minute mark with a groin problem!

A few rested bodies, given the upcoming Chlesea match. But not to recklessly done as Wigan are fighting for their Premiership lives. Aussie's line-up looks fine:- I think Gerrard and Mascherano will probably start on the bench and then spell Alonso and Pennant respectively, later. Still, Benitez is trying a few possibilities for sure so expect your jaws to drop.

is this the [R]esults thread or is there going to be a new one

This is the main thread now, I've amended the title.

I think we should play close to our strongest side for this one. We should be doing what Chelsea are doing at the moment and treat every game as a Cup final. Let's give Wigan the sort of mullering that sends us off to the Bridge with a bit of momentum behind us.

Team for us today should be/hopefully will be -

Filan

Baines
De Zeeuw
Boyce
Taylor

Kilbane
Scharner
Landzaat
Cotterill

Heskey
Camara.

Loads of options though. Scharner could play at the back, Boyce could play right back with Taylor on the right wing, Camara could play on the right with Folan up front.

Wouldn't be surprised to see Filan, Cotterill, Landzaat, Heskey and Folan all out of the team though. Jewell usually writes these games off before they are played and 99% of the time springs a few surprises with a team that you can usually predict quite easily.

Decisions, decisions

Where's Finnan BTW?. Good line-up I think, should be easily enough to win the match.
