word is celtic's coming out with a new kit (pre-order now, available on may 25th?), which is 40 years to the day of celtic winning the eurpoean cup. i read that its design will be inspired by the 1967 jersey.

celtic's online store (http://www.kitbag.com/stores/celtic/products/product_browse.aspx?cid=3564) isn't showing anything, as of yet. has anyone seen the new kit?

Here it is - care of the Tartan Army Message Board.

Not much change from the present. Badge moving to left and a bit of gold around it. Definitely better than Rangers - or indeed any of the new Umbro disasters - West Ham's is a real shocker.

Have you got links to either of these? I'd love to see....

There's also a thread about it with some reactions from their fans in this section.

Should have looked for a thread - thanks.

All bias aside, that is a dreadful kit.

I think Celtic always has great kit. Too bad the team itself isn't that great

While i am proud of our achievement 40 years ago it is getting kind of old that the club are milking it for all its worth. They should be celebrated at the qaurters, 25,50,75, 100 etc.

Hate to admit is as a dyed in the wool Jambo but I think it looks quite good! I used to run a Club (U'8s to Veterans) and the Club's colours had always been green, albeit various shades, until we decided as a committee to have a standard uniform across all teams. I suggested the maroon shade of green but even as Chairman was outvoted and the Club adopted the Celtic hoops. The only concession they gave me was that the shirts weren't numbered but, instead, the shorts were!

Celtic has a great tradition (Danny McGrain, Davie Provan, Jinky, King Kenny, Paul McStay, Ceasar et al) and I like the idea of remembering the Lisbon victory. Mind you, I wouldn't wear one!!!!!!

Still, it could be worse, Hearts could run out at Tynecastle in Kaunas' yellow and green!!!!!! The shame of it:(
