Don't laugh now - fare dodgers (leo's only option).

Really, apparently no other city in Germany catched so many people rifing public transport without a ticket (because they check more here) and because of that Hannover is #2.
It's rather funny. Doesn't really make this a dangerous city to live.

When Squig was still here, Hannover wasn't even in the top 10 I think, maybe he's a superhero like Spiderman and when left things got bad, really bad.

And thanks for posting in this thread, I hope it's not only because of pity.

I so want that cup, even if it's 10€ but so far nobody bought one for me (and I refuse to buy it myself).

I didn't think it really was. Sometimes you have to look deeper at what they constitute a "crime", size of the city, etc... How is violent crime in Hannover?

To be honest, it's the fans in here that keep me posting here. GREAT sense of humor and doom, all in one. :p

I could easily buy any of you a beer.....or a scotch for that matter.

10€ is pretty expensive, just to have 96 labeled on it. :o

Yeah, I go away and now the police has to step in to catch all those fare didgers. terrible, really.

Honestly, hanover is the safest place I've ever been to:

And I love you guys, too ;-)

Gaetan Krebs (Sportfreunde Siegen | On loan from racing Strasbourg)
Mikaell Forssel (Birmingham City)

Gaëtan Krebs is now official:

http://www.hannover96.de/MEDIA/9000,0.jpg

96 has to pay 500.000€ to Racing Strasbourg. He's now officially the shortest 96 player, just 2cm taller than me with 1.65m.

Apparently he's a lively midfielder who scored a few beautiful free kick goals this season (we need those) but needs to work on his endurance and all around fitness level to make it to the Bundesliga.

Forssell was in Hannover yesterday but things still hang in the balance because his club can't decide if they want to keep him and 96 wants to check out his knee a little more.

Wow, what a surprise.
96 could reach an UEFA cup berth and they blow it.

I guess they reminded themselves that Hannover 96 just doesn't ever reaches anything and are the definition of "mediocre".

It's depressing.

In the following years, expect Steven to take over die Roten. :p

Sweet!

:)

Very sweet indeed.
Like I said before when kicker first mentioned it it's rather surprising because it doesn't really look like 96 making Europe this year.
I thought he would have liked to try something else (EPL) but apparently he likes it here and is confident that the team is good enough to achieve something next season.

Huszti received his 5th yellow saturday and consequently 96 needs to try to win without him against Nuremberg which will be hard because he assisted on 96's last three goals.

What a steal he has been.
Another season like this and he's gone to bigger things .

Depressing end to the season.
The way the other teams played 96 would have reached UI-cup with a win.
This sucks.

Another mid-table finish, what else is new...

Another big chance you missed ... and you ruined my oddset tip.

I've got the feeling that your team isn't allowed to play international! ;)

I'm seriously bummed about this.
I think we'll never win anything again.

I have huge respect for fans of clubs like Bochum and Bielefeld whose chances of achieving anything else then staying up are even smaller like 96's and they still support their team and don't go to either Schalke or Dortmund.

You always hope and hope but in the end - nothing.

Even Bochum and Freiburg reached the UEFA-cup once and of the teams that got promoted with us or after us Frankfurt did as well and Nuremberg will next season.

It's depressing.

Not reaching international football = good players will leave.

Did I already say that it's depressing?
I always tell myself "Look at Fortuna Düsseldorf, look at 1. FC Köln etc!" but you what? It' STILL depressing that 96 is so boring.

We need WINNERS. They are way too nice. I love them and I really like that the players seem to really like it other but in my opinion we are in desperate need of an Arschloch.

I'm going to get drunk and leave to dance in the Faust (http://www.faustev.de/faust/index.php?article_id=51&clang=0) till the sun goes up.
Maybe I'll feel better then.

Freiburg has made it twice. They finished third in 1994/95 and sixth in 2000/01. And I was thinking the same thing today about Hannover, that they should be able to make it every now and again if a team like Freiburg can. Hopefully, they can put it together next year for all 34 games. The building blocks are there.

apparantly you guys are after Rivaldo (olympiakos) and Radu (cottbus)

Radu is someone theyve been going after for weeks now, he's about 90% certain to go to H96 imo.

And Rivaldo...i didn't hear about that! He's probably still got an enormous ego, and i dunno if he's still able to play football....
....but just the idea of having Rivaldo in the Bundesliga with Hannover sounds waaaayyyy awesome, so i hope they get him :D

I really hope we don't. But I think this would be totally something our dictator, I mean president would do.

Don't know what to think about Radu, I fear he's going to end up like Christiansen and Hashemian here.

I don't think they would do themselves a favour. Rivaldo is well past his sell-by-date. Too much of a risk with his injuries.

Rivaldo somehow reminds me of Xavier, which is a bad thing. Not much glamour to gain by this transfer, Bundesliga will look like MLS and the Ghanaian league as a place where old stars can kick the ball a bit before retireing.

Don't know about Radu.
