Well, I didn't see the game but I'm happy they won.

And I almost couldn't believe my eyes when I saw the highlights and realized Lauth did actually assist on a goal!

According to Kicker 96 is interested in Bayern right-back Andreas Görlitz (currently on loan to Karlsruhe).
http://www.kicker.de/news/fussball/bundesliga/startseite/artikel/181599/

Every season 96 seems to think that Steve could play a little bit better it he had a decent competition on his position.
Last season they brought in Andersson and now they are apparenly interested in Görlitz.

I don't doubt that 96 is interested in Görlitz but I doubt he will want to come to 96. Imo he either goes back to Bayern as Klinsmann was the one who made him a NT player or stays at Karlsruhe where he doesn't have to fight for a starting spot and can probably play in the UEFA cup next season.

So no need to worry for Cherundolo me thinks. He has a bad game from time to time but he still 96's most consistent player imo.

The money they would spent on Görlitz is much better spent on a left-back, a playmaker and a forward because those are the ares 96 really lacks quality.

Ok, let's talk about next season...

Haha, seems like 96 feels the same way.
Forget about this season, let's start to think about the next.

Mario Eggimann, Karslruhe's captain and Swiss international will join 96 next season.

Okay, so now we habe our CB, we still need two attacking midfielders (one to replace Huszti) and a forward.

Tarnat's season is over:

I'm not too sad about it, it's not like it really matters to 96 anymore.
At least this will give us a chance to test our youngsters Bikmaz and Rausch, at least I hope Hecking won't simply put schulz back there.

Where's Huszti going??

Where's Huszti going??

Well, he wants to go to LaLiga but the way he's playing right now that's going to be tough.

He wants a huge raise or he won't resign. I'd rather sell him at this point and get some money than not getting anything next season.

I don't think he's playing a strong season despite those goals.
Converting penalties is not everything.

His agent must be stupid.

I don't blame you. His development seems to have stalled.

You've got that right.

What can I say, I was in the stadium today. :(

They were pretty terrible again.

Since they break they are one of the worst teams of the Bundesliga.
Bielefeld could have scored 5 goals against them today, freaking Bielefeld!
Odd-man rushes en masse! Against freaking BIELEFELD.

Everytime Bielefeld had the ball it was panic-mode. BIELEFELD!

I don't get it. They suck. They are slow, they are mentally weak.
I watched a lot of 2. Bundesliga matches recently. I have never seen a team play so many bad passes NOT under pressure like this team.

It's like their brains tell them "Do not play to the one guy in blue between all these red players!" and then their body does something totally different.

The best was actually Tarnat against Karlsruhe. He managed to play the ball to the "Seitenaus" (what's the English word?) twice without anyone being near him or the place he passed the ball to.

They are also not able to play a decent pressing like Frankfurt for example is doing.

And I HATE the one-striker system, Hanke must be so frustrated.
To be fair, it's not like we have a decent 2nd striker to partner Hanke with. Jiri is way too inconsistent.

Congrats for Bastian Schulz for his first Bundesliga game, except for one glaring bad pass (he's a 96 player after all) he was solid and his passes connected. *gasp*

I love Lala but I really really think his days as a starting Bundesliga player are over. I don't think I can bear watching another game of him. He wins a lot of balls but he loses so much more.

There is much to do for Hecking and Hochstätter for the next season, I hope the know what they're doing.

Another thing that was strange about the Bielefeld game was the number of fights and skirmishes I saw in the whole city. Must have been the frustration.
I'm afraid almost all the trouble I witnessed were started by drunk 96 fans.

Freaking Bielefeld. Hooligans - all of them. ;)

Apparently we're interested in Loukas Vyntra, RB of Panathinaikos.

I don't know much about him, from all I read in greek forums, he surely doesn't seem like an upgrade but maybe having a competition will fire up Stevie.

He's sure dreamy though: :D

She doesn't care about that. She wants you to show her if Chahed is better looking! LOL!! :D

How the hell did we not win that team? Hahnke gets send of in the 5th minute, but still Hanover looks like the better team in the first 45 minutes and the last 10, Duisburg was really pathetic, and still we just play a draw? :-(

Yep. We'll never win anything! :(

Btw, this was apparently not a penalty:

Mike Hanke was suspended for two matches following his red card in Duisburg. He will miss your upcoming BIG matches with Stuttgart and at Wolfsburg.

Steve looked good today against Poland. Hopefully this will translate to H96.

Well, the forwards he has to face in the Bundesliga on a regular basis are a little bit better than was Poland was offering yesterday so I don't get my hopes up.

Did he get a few nice crosses and passes that connected in?

Our young LB Konstantin Rausch (turned 18 this month) had a very good debut today.

Maybe we don't need to spend precious money on a new LB after all, he should be able to back up Tarnat next season.

Other than that - who cares? ;)
