Thomas Kleine's time should have definitely run out after Ismael's transfer ... so there might be a chance to see him back in Fürth soon.
Wouldn't mind if Borussia is going to sign him for next season, though...

Gotta say Fraulein, your "boring, unsatisfactory" side played a wonderful game today :)
Big congratulations on the 3 points!

It seems possible to reach the UEFA cup for 96 this season.
Why do you think things are going so well so far?
I feel that since Hecking got here we are finally seeing a concept, a plan. We lost some games and had our low-points. When he took over we were rock-bottom but we stayed calm and believed in our strengths.
Almost every week-end we manage to play to our potential. We play well together and everyone fights for each other and we have enough quality to always be able to score a goal.
When Ewald Lienen was coach you also had a strong first half of the season but totally eingebroche in the second half. Why do you think this won’t happen again?
I think you can’t compare both teams and seasons. I’m totally convinced that we have more quality now. That’s the big difference between then and now.
This season there seems to be no competition for the RB position for you. Pinto who was supposed to be is playing as a attacking midfielder now. Who will replace you in case you get injured.
Both Sergio Pinto and Hanno Balitsch are able to play the RB position and even Vinicius if he had to but of course it’s not bad not having to compete for the job.
Who Germany’s best goalkeeper?
Robert Enke of course. There is no doubt about after watching him over the last years.
You always talk about your love for Hannover and live there since 1999. What do you as a Californian like so much about this town?
Well, apart from the weather, the sea and the beach Hannover is pretty similar to San Diego, only smaller. If you want to you’ll always meet the same people. Some might call it a village, I call it family and that’s what I like about it.
I just feel comfortable here. I was accepted here and don’t regret a minute I spent in Hannover.
[b]After living in Germany for such a long time you’ll surely get homesick sometimes. What do you miss about the USA?
If you’re talking about food I don’t miss anything. The thing I miss is the friendliness of the American people. Some call it superficiality, I call it friendliness. There’s also a lot of envy in Germany. If you buy an expensive car in the US people will say “Congrats”. That’s different in Germany.
The mood in Hannover is great right now, 96 is in the upper third of the table and the fans celebrate you at home games. What’s your favourite chant?
I like it when the northern stand and the western stand chant "Han-noo-ver!" alternately, especially when the eastern and the southern stand join and it goes back and forth.
That’s the best sound because the whole stadium is involved and not only the northern
stand.
Do you plan on staying in Hannover till 2010 or do you want to go abroad eventually? You’ve always talked about it being a dream of yours to one day play in the EPL?
I always said it was a dream and it probably still is but I don’t want to leave Hannover. Things are still improving here. Since I came here the club got better continuously, structurally, quality-wise and also financially. As long as that trend continues and my game improves I want to stay. I have everything here.

Congrats on the impressing "Hanke show" and the first win over Bremen since a very long time! The UEFA Cup is coming closer and closer...;)
PS: Nice to see that Thomas Kleine finally got another chance yesterday.

Unfortunately he showed again why he shouldn't start.
Tarnat will stay another season. This man is unbelievable. Who would have thought that after his very average last season he would come back so strong like he did this season.
His leadership and experience are also very important off the field.

Tarnat will stay until he's death or something. What's the age record for a Bundesliga player, anyways?
The Cottbus game on friday night should be televised live in the US and the UK (Setanta) if anyone is interested.

Why do I always pick H96 to win? And I really have to stop watching them on the stream, as they always play horrible when I watch.

That was bad. Seriously, I have to stop to ask Amsterdam international students to watch Hanover games with me. Last one was the one against Frankfurt, now this... terrible. And to make it even worse, this time it was an Italian 8as opposed to an American at the Frankfurt game). Guess we got to confident after the Bremen game and only watched Cottbus' place in the table but not the last results. Oh well, at least we know what we have to work on during the winter break.
Basically, Hanover always let's us down like that (F96 will concur). It would have been to nice to win.
But, if we want to move away from that grey mouse image, we have to win games at Cottbus. Or at least stop losing them 5 to f*ing 1.
I'm honestly sorry for anyone I recommended to watch this game.

That's 96. I guess they'll miss International Football by goal differential.
Wow, lucky me that I got to watch the whole game in a pub. Everybody was drunk at the end and found the game rather funny except for me of course.
Kleine is atrocius, we should rather get rid of him than Zuraw imo.
Vinicius had a horrible game against Bremen and this one wasn't better.
What's up with our CBs?
Totally deserved win for Cottbus, our players really need to work at their attitude. Like I said in the other thread, I watched Cottbus against Bochum and Duisburg and it was evident there that they are a team that alaways fights and gives 100% and I wish 96 would too.
I guess they read too much in the local press after the win against Bremen and let it get to thei head.
I still don't think 96 played as good this season as the table position would let believe, there were only a handfull of good games.
Huszti lost about 96% of his one-on-one battles yesterday, that's not acceptable. I don't care how much penalties he converts if he sucks so much on this aspect of the game. He needs to improve.
I kinda doubt Cottbus will beat anyone higher than 5:1 ever so surely this loss will always be in the history books. :(
Lego Highlights of 96 - Bremen are finally online:

This is soo well done, just look at the banners and the red card (!!) and especially Jürgen Stajner's haircut, lol!
I also love the way Diego carries the ball after he scored. :D

I'm not usually one to blindly stand up for players just because I like them, but he gets the least bad kicker rating of all the firled players and you single him out? That's harsh.
96 is training right now in Tenerife.
