This board has become ridiculous because sidspaceman posts a new idea every minute. It's no big deal, but each one is a new thread!! Isn't there a place on the Big Soccer rules of etiquette where this is frowned upon?

I don't see what's wrong with starting new threads. If you don't like it don't read them. Would you like it better if they were all just in one thread? If so I will just start a Colombian news thread and post everything there..

There is such a thing as etiquette for message boards. My viewpoint is that there should be some concept of logic and organization in how new threads are created. Each new thread should be the beginning of a new discussion. Let me give you an example:

-Instead of creating the following 4 threads:
1) "Gerson Gonzalez a River Plate"
2) "Jairo Castillo puede volver a jugar en Argentina"
3) "Andrés Orozco está a un paso del Boca Juniors"
4) "Real Madrid quiere desprenderse de Edwin Congo"
etc. etc.

...you can create the following ONE thread:
1) "Colombianos en el exterior"


This not only saves real estate, but let's say I wish to respond to all four of the above topics, I don't have to move to different threads and submit 4 different posts. Luckily I have a cable modem but imagine if you are on a dial-up connection!

Don't get me wrong...I am interested in Colombian football and I think the Colombia and Ecuador boards are good together because there are only 4 or 5 ecuatorianos on BigSoccer...but when I log onto this board and I see 35 different threads by "sidspaceman", I immediately go somewhere else to post.


--P.S. I had to edit this post because in the time I wrote it, "sidspaceman" created 2 new threads about Colombians playing in foreign leagues.

good observation, at this time I let them recall or reconstruct the ones we lost, then we can organize them by catedories.
