Does anyone know if Muller is from the French-speaking region of Switzerland? Cause I don't think Patrick is a German name.

I really like Pat. He seems like a really nice, cheerful guy with little and/or no ego problems. He certainly doesn't seem to mind being on the bench.

At the beginning of the season, I thought he was going to be a starter, with Squillaci as a sub. But I guess not.

Muller tore his ligament last weekend and will be out for six months. :(

Is this the end of his career?

he's only 31, and he WAS a Swiss international. I don't think you can write him off so soon...

He's getting to that age were injuries like that are harder and harder to come back from. He probably lose a lot of speed because of it too. If this is bad, i wouldn't be surprised if he called it quits. Now if Micheal Owen would just follow suit, then the newcastle physio could actually take a vacation.

i think pat will call it quits, and there will be plenty at gerland who will miss him.
