As you probably know teams sponsorized by adidas get FORMOTION technology for players jerseys and ClimaCool technology for replicas. Now that I've bought an adidas formotion jersey (not a team jersey) I really notice the difference between formotion and climacool. I'd say Formotion is way more comfortable..it gets dry faster, it's softer and it streches more (it probably has a little elastene-lycra in it).
Here's the question...Is it possible to get somewhere Formotion CLUB TEAMS jerseys instead of climacool for a decent price? (I know you can get Argentina, France and probably other national teams sponsorized by adidas..but what about club teams like R.Madrid, Milan..) And yeah, I think it's foolish to get a 'match-worn' shirt on ebay just because formotion feels better than climacool!!

Only place I know that commercially sells kit room jerseys is Subside Sports. However you may need to wait for them to become available as they will have an intake of kitroom stock when it is not required (IE at the end of the season). If you can't wait until then it will have to be eBay, alternatively try emailing Subside to find out what they can do for you - they are very helpful.

formotion (for your motion) is not essentially a cooling technology rather it is 3-d cuts of high chaffing areas. the fabric moves with you rather than being stationary. climacool is still incorporated into the shirt (the fabric+vents).
i think last season all the MLS shirts had formotion technology, however, most if not all clubs will have the formotion technology in their replica shirts next season.

Yeah I'd really like to know why replicas don't use formotion... I think the price of the actual fabric is the same!...

They probably hold the quality of formotion jerseys to a higher standard as they're "professional level" than the climacool replicas. It's probably more cost effective to churn out climacool stuff(which is pretty effective in itself) than to put replica kits through the formotion standards.
I could be completely off base here so I'm not really sure.
Semi-related, the Nike professional kits are NOTHING like their replicas.

I don't know...The weird thing is that you can buy at a regular store the adidas training jersey (of a club team) and find out that IS in fact formotion! And is the same that players use. Which is very comfortable indeed.
So you can get a formotion training jersey for 40$ and a climacool (not so cool) match jersey for around 60-70$!

does anybody know if and when replicas are going to be upgraded to formotion anytime in the future? Say maybe the replicas coming out in 2 years?

i've always wondered why the man united shirts look a lot shinier on tv than they do in real life! that really takes the piss because i paid about £50 to get my l/s united home top + print.

For the 9 millionth time, replicas will NEVER, EVER, EVER be formotion. They are player issue kits and adidas will keep them that way.
And well done for bumping a year old thread when you could have used the jersey thread on the first page of this forum.

Does anyone know where I can buy an authentic/player issued Formotion Germany 2008/09 jersey? I tried the DFB site, ebay.de etc. to no avail. Thank you!
