I live near Dallas, Texas and Tom Hicks owns two major sport team in the area (Hockey: Dallas Stars & Baseball: Texas Rangers).
Hicks used to be a great owner (ie. spent a lot of money), now he is one of the cheapest owners.
Does Liverpool know what they are in store for?

All Liverpool wanted from Hicks and Gillette was the cash to build them a new stadium. Hicks and Gillette have already committed to it. In fact, they now have more ambitious plans than the previous owners.
Once built, Liverpool will be able to generate all the money they need to compete at the top, without Hicks or Gillette dipping further into their pockets.
