Holy crap, is anyone else watching this? I can't believe it.

6 unanswered goals by ManU? God must be angry at the Italians for beating up Manchester supporters, and sent his Jesus-magic at the pitch.

Well, I see now that I'm not talking to anyone but myself.....

Not that it's ever stopped me before.

My roommates are all at work, and I had no one to talk to.... So I might as well talk to myself.

If I talk to myself on the internet, then I can share my crazy with the world!

you could've just edited your first post, instead of being such a glutton with the post counts.

Found this horrific piece of writing on soccernet in the article about the game:

The midfielder gleefully dispatched a curling shot to light the blue touch paper on the end of which Roma's Champions League dream was burnt to a frazzle.

But don't you live in America? We're supposed to love Manchester Utd., Chelsea, and Arsenal. I mean those ARE the only teams in Europe right?

If one more little blond white kid comes in my store asking for Brazil jersey and turns up his nose when I suggest a USA jersey, I'm going to brain him.

most people don't like to root for a mediocre team, and would prefer to support a winner, especially in this town.

I think US in particular pick winning teams because the are easier to route for... the media shows off higlights of all these other players from other teams but when was the last time a US player was on the cover of winning eleven or FIFA. This is what the kids look at as soccer is video games and Highlights. Not an actual player who can play the game... Look at our basketball team. All highlights but can not win an international game anymore because they can't play as a team. The US is all commercial and marketing and doesn not highlight players with true skill.

Question: As much as some of you hate MU. Do they sell alot of Ronaldo jerseys in the US?

You can not call this town Fair weather fans... I believe this town always has the fans it is just that in this town we will beat up the owners and the players when the team is bad.... we are always fans just negative and disgusted at the current state of the team... I am always get more interested when the team is winning. Too fustrating to watch a team lose and lose and lose!

Celtic is different, it's a cultural thing for a lot of people.

I hate this crap... American kids refusing to watch MLS, refusing to root for USMNT. Jesus, it makes me want to hit someone.

Look, man, just tell the next f'ing American snot that doesn't want a USMNT team jersey that your buddy, Steve, fought in Iraq and takes personal offense to anyone telling him the pride of his country isn't good enough for them. Busting out the Iraq card always makes people feel guilty enough to do whatever you want :D
