River Plate PR already started playing with their lower division team. Its lower division team Plays in "Liga Premier de Puerto Rico" and from their the coach will select the Puerto Rican player that would play in the 2008 porfesional team.

River Plate PR Preseason statistics:
RPPR 9 - 0 Liga del Oeste Allstars
RPPR 4 - 2 Quintana (One of PR top teams)

Today in a local newspaper it was reported that 2,000 people went to see the "try-outs" for River Plate PR amateur team. (I dint see that was the story you put up.) WOW
