hmm.
Not confirmed by the club yet, i think. But it is a knee injury and he will miss the rest.
He's not the best player but we are lacking left-backs at the moment. Especially for thursday, i see Stalteri playing there with Chimbonda at right back and King-Dawson in the middle.

ur grammar sucks
He probably doesn't understand english that well so cut him some slack. If we want to get all grammar corrective then it's your not "ur".

Pity for him as he was playing his best football since he joined, now we're stuck playing someone out of position on Thursday.
On the bright side, Ekotto should be back in a couple of weeks, so if we get through this 2nd leg against Sevilla then we should be ok.

Well this will rev the "Bale to Spurs" rumor engine significantly.

Horrible news. Godspeed on a safe and swift recovery Lee.
I don't know if a club has ever limped onto the trophy stand in the UEFA cup before, but if we somehow make it there, that's exactly what we'll be doing.
Staltieri has no fear attacking, and while I have no idea if he's any good at crossing from the left, he's all we've got. Lee's out, Ekotto's out, Gardner's out, and Rocha is our only cover for both center back positions. I think we might see Phillip Ifil suit up and make a cameo once in a while from here on out. Frankly, I'm curious what Ifil's got. By his age he ought to be blossoming into a player who challenges for a first team playing time, so hopefully he's progressed enough to do something with it when it comes.

His management agency reported that he's gonna need at least 3 months to recover. Sky Sports reported that he's going to evaluate his options and see if he needs surgery or just an extensive rehabilitation program (because the Asian Cup is this summer so he may take the quicker route to recovery if he can)

Not sure how that works outside transfer windows! Season long loans usually have call-back clauses during the January window only.. not in april, 1-2 months before the end of the season.
