I bought Absolions because they were really cheap (45 dollars canadian) and they fit really nicely. I had my heart set on absolutes but i didnt want to spend the extra 100 +. I was wondering if there is anyway to get heel counter or any alternative for the heel counter.

Peace

im not really sure what you mean, but if your saying if you can change the heel counter on the absolions then no. the plastic external heel counter on the absolutes is one of the things that makes the boot absolutes and not absolions, which is why they are alot more money, apart from the leather and the different insoles you can put in.

k, i understand. I know i can buy the insoles, but i dont see a point because people have told me that they don't offer very much. I'm not sure how much the heel counter will matter, i'll have to wait and see.

i can still return my boots because i havent worn them so i might just try and buy absolutes. I really wanted to get pulses because i know that they are a lot better then absolions but i couldnt find any at the shop i went to.

I really don't think you'll notice THAT much difference between the Absolion and Absolute. The poweepulse insoles really don't make a difference and as long as your feet feel comfortable and secure then the heel cointer really doesn't matter...especially considering just how thin the heel counter of the Absolutes are.

As for the comparison between the Pulses and Absolions - the leather of the Absolions is infact more suppole and soft. Also, something to watch out for is that the toe box shape of the Absolion (more pointy) is different to that of the Pulse.

the toe box feels fine, i have wide feet, but it seems to fit well when i wear them around the house. I'm probably going to try on some pulses and if the price isn't too much higher and if they feel right then i'll probably get them.

absolions are a quality boot, be happy with them. cut off the tongues, makes it so much more comfortable.

i'm really happy. i just went to this shop and they retailed for over 90 canadian dollars which is a lot more then what i paid and i didnt feel too much difference between them and the pulse.

I play some of my best football with Absolado's(i think). The mid-range boot. Much better than I do with Absolutes.
