Yeah, it's gonna require a tough semifinal matchup and it's exactly two-months away....but is anyone else drooling over the possibility of playing Mexico at Estadio Azteca in the final?
Would certainly be a high-energy match that I'd personally love to attend. (Especially considering my France plans didn't pan out)

Err...
Dont be so sure that it will be Mexico. Couldn't it be USA v Brazil?

Funny you should mention this because France didn't work out for me neither. As a consolation I promised myself that if the boys made it to Azteca for the final I'd definately spring for the trip.
Hopefully see you there ;)

From Sachin's posted US Schedule:
Quarterfinal vs. winner Group D or 2nd Group D (group D is made up of Canada, Costa Rica, and a Carribean team TBD)
If we make the quarterfinals, the US will be assigned QF1, regardless of whether we win the group of finish second, to guarantee that we'll be in the Miami semifinal, rather than in Mexico City. They're doing the same thing in reverse for Mexico. So...
Foxboro - July 19th (Saturday) - 3:00 p.m.
Semifinal vs. winner of QF4 (since Mexico can't be here, the odds are great that this will be Brazil or, possibly, Colombia)
Miami - July 23rd (Wednesday) - 8:00 p.m.
Third Place Match
Miami - July 26th (Saturday) - 8:00 p.m.
Final
Mexico City - July 27th (Sunday) - noon
Regardless of the opponent, if the US makes it to the final myself and some friends are all geared up and ready to go.

I would love to return to Azteca (I attended the USA qualifier loss July 2001.) My first priority though is to be in Azteca and Columbus (?) for the qualifiers in 2005.
