You ain't seem nothin' yet, wait'll next Sunday! :D
Related AA lot tailgating items:
Are there hot charcoal trash cars, like at Mile High, anywhere? If not, could we have one put in?? I just packed it out, but in summer, the coals may not be cool enough, and I just had a small 12" grill.
Ditto for trash cans. I carried my trash all the way up to the stadium sidewalk.
The restrooms by the AA lot & practice field was nice, but it was closed when we left the stadium...with a guard there....why not keep it open for those that post-game hang around for traffic to clear?? Then you can get rid of that green port-a-potty there.

We brought it because the team deserves it!
About the tailgating...
Charcoal grills are not allowed. That is why there were no hot coal bins like at Invesco.
The bathrooms were unlocked but not yet operational. The toilets didn't flush, and the sinks had no running water either. But I asked the security guy about it and he explained, "They aren't operational yet, but since they're unlocked I can't stop you from going in there." That is probably why it was locked after the game, and it's definitely why there's a portapotty there right now.
Good call on the trash cans. I saw many responsible people packing their trash out, but I saw a lot of trash on the ground that I'm sure even the less-responsible people would've thrown into a bin had there been one.
Next weeks tailgates should be even better. Nothing like sub-freezing temps and precip to put the damper on a tailgate---and all that notwithstanding, so many people showed up.
Big props to the Ringueberg/Burnham clan, without whom the C-Firm side of the tailgate wouldn't have been all that it was. And thanks to the Jimmycos for all the yummies they brought later in the morning to keep the late arrivals fed. Congrats to the Class VI side of the tailgate as well. Your organizers did a great job, too!
I am so pumped for this season!!!!

I am so pumped for this season!!!!Our team does deserve this kind of support don't they! Props for the C-Firm and Class VI vision to create this type of environment.
The tailgate(s) turned out great! It will be even better with nicer weather, but certainly a great start.
I think the C-Firm passion is catching on around the stadium. Sitting in Class VI, we always hear C-Firm, but this time it was fun to hear cheering from other sections in the stadium without "give away t-shirt incentives"! I hope we'll come up with a great "Rapids Song" and we'll all be loud together!
Class VI people asked and were told to leave the trash bagged by the port-a-potty area, RFO please let us know what we should do with the trash if that wasn't correct!
GO RAPIDS SUPPORTERS! :)
