I didnt see a thread for this match so i started one. I only got to see about 30 minutes of the second half lol, but it really seems Lyon are deadset to sputter their way to the end of the season. Luckily the lead is so comfortable. I did get the see Malouda's chance when he broke through on net. He really should have gotten that one in. Other than that it was really Valenciennes who looked threatening as Coupet had to make a couple of saves way out his net, and i was sure they would score adding insult to injury from the Gunners score line.

So Houllier's 100th game in charge ends in disappointment. A perfect example of how lackluster players can be when there is nothing left to play for.

well they just came off a very big disappointment with the bordeaux loss. i'm sure the final was still in their heads somewhat. let's hope they get more motivated for the next L1 game.
