Arizona people....
Does your local Telefutura schedule show a movie in place of the MLS game today?
The game is Galaxy vs. Dynamo at 4:00 PST.

How do I complain?

I thought the game was on Sunday. I even saw it on my cable guide. I have a reminder on it.

nevermind I just called nd the game will be on at 5??? I guess that either means it's at 8 eastern or on tape delay

I noticed this too - the cable provider was in the Prescott area, and the game was not shown - I was looking forward to the spanish language slant on MLS...

No game this weekend either - give me a break I'm a white guy who can barely speak English yet I'm willing to listen in another language and they won't show it. Oh well...

Did they not show it, or did it come on an hour late on delay like it did here in Tucson?

Is this becoming a trend with the Phoenix affiliate?

If so, maybe an organized effort to change their minds should be added to the agenda.

I think it may be Telefutura, nationwide....

I haven't paid attention, because I tend very DC United centric when it comes to watching MLS, but I just checked and the local affiliate here in DC has the Chivas USA/United game listed live @ 3PM EDT.

I remember in 1994, the ABC affiliate in Phoenix had the audacity to show World Cup matches tape delayed and still kept the live indicator on the broadcast (they could at least put a crawler saying it was locally delayed).

I was on the east coast last Sunday and the game aired as scheduled. This Sunday 4/29 I was back in Tucson and it was delayed an hour to 1:00 PST. Once before I can remember them not showing a national game at all, and in place was a movie.

That's good info. We don't want to go accusing the affiliate of something that it hasn't done.

We should keep track of how these stations have delayed or deferred broadcast of the games. If that's part of the information that is presented to the station(s) then they'll know that we've been keeping an eye on them.

Did anyone notice the shenanigans today from this station?

First they listed the game to start at 3:00 PM, one hour tape delay, the usual so I waited. 3:00 rolls around and they begin the broadcast by announcing the halftime score. Then instead of starting with the beginning of the game they begin in the second half. Towards the end of the second half the announcers are saying they have to cut the broadcast short because Objectivo Fama's season finale is about to begin. They didn't cut away before the end, but when it was over they put on a movie "Cyborg III". Someone please tell me I was dreaming and there really isn't a cyborg 3. They alotted to show the entire game but only showed the second half, then had to cover by throwing an old movie in.

Where can I complain? Anyone know? You would think someone would give half a care more because the game featured Chivas.

I watched the game on Telefutura.

Where?

The problem is with the local AZ affiliate. Did the station you watched show the entire game?
