Hey, now you've spoiled it for everyone, there is no point in holding the tournament now, we all know what is going to happen :D

I am most interested in seeing how Guadeloupe shape up on their debut. If I was their coach, I'd be organising a few warmup games against non-Caribbean sides. As far as I know, their only matches against non-Caribbean sides in their entire history have been mostly against African teams. For the record, and for anyone who is interested, here is Guadeloupe's complete record against non-Caribbean countries.

30 May 1987 - Guadeloupe 3-0 Rιunion, friendly in France
11 May 1988 - Guadeloupe 2-1 Togo, friendly in France
17 Mar 1989 - Guadeloupe 0-2 Paraguay, friendly in Guadeloupe
09 May 1992 - Guadeloupe 1-1 Congo, friendly in France, Guadeloupe won 4-3 on penalties
20 May 1993 - Rιunion 3-0 Guadeloupe, friendly in Rιunion

4 African matches, 1 South America. So Guadeloupe have never even played a non-Caribbean CONCACAF team before.

Has Anyone seen Haiti play lately ?

Last game I saw them play was the Digicel final against T&T in Trinidad where they won 2-1. Since then I've gathered that they added some players to the pool so they should be better (beat Panama 3-0). From what I saw in the Digicel cup, Haiti play a very fast attacking game. They use the flanks well and make good use of their speed attacking. Defending they are soild with their captin (Bruny?) winning the MVP of the torney. They are however a bit shakey from set plays and crosses.

Adding too many new players in a team often affects the chemistry of the team. The team may become stronger or weaker depending on how the players connect with each others. In our case, we have players who cannot even speak creole (the language in which we curse when we're waiting for a pass that never comes:D ). That's maybe the reason why our cuban coach Armelio (phew! he speaks fluent creole) is trying to play a lot of friendlies before the GC.

I'm surprised the Guatemala over El Salvador historical record is so lopsided.

Own us? Hardly. Go to a WC, and then your our dad. Produce players better than these, El Magico, La Chelona, Ever Hernandez, Carriota, El Pajarito. Then talk to us.

Wtf? We haven't played T&T since 98?
