I live in California so I guess I may have to get it on the internet. Thanks!! Any seat will be good. Seats can be bought two weeks in advance on the internet. Check out the official site. You might have to go through a service to get a ticket on the Kop. Byornebye and I and another friend are going in early February. It's my second trip. You have to make sure you go to the museum and tour --- they let you into the changing rooms and down the tunnel to the pitch. You get to sit in the players box. It's obviously not available on game day. Book the tour in advance. What a great gift!

Check out this list of Liverpool supporters from the official site including the current Miss World, Kelly Dalglish, and Cherie Blair (perhaps she can put in a word for King Kenny).

[Samuel L.] Jackson also had a few bad words to say about the people of Manchester which one him even more respect from the Liverpool fans.

Hopefully what he said was "The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he, who in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of darkness, for he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who would attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know my name is the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon thee."

That's the only EPL match scheduled for that day (and I don't believe there are any other matches in Europe, either). . . maybe FSW will broadcast it.

Cool, thanks. I did call them and faxed my info and the lady was really nice and she said I'll have a ticket reserved for me. I'm also going to schedule the tour the day before the game. She also told me the are really looking for another home, which I think they meant to build a new stadium for the team.

Owen set to dump agents
Jan 6 2004

By Chris Bascombe, Liverpool Echo

MICHAEL OWEN may quit agents SFX this summer amid increasing concerns with how he's being represented.

The Liverpool striker's contract with the organisation ends in July and he could walk away from the agency when his next Anfield deal has been negotiated.

Owen will continue talks on a new four-year contract with Liverpool in the New Year.

But the man the striker will trust to secure a deal is his advisor Tony Stephens, who has overseen Owen's progress since the forward was a youngster.

Stephens currently works for SFX on a part-time basis.

Comments made today by the organisation's chairman Jon Holmes have added to speculation about Owen's future.

"Champions League football is very important to Michael," said Holmes.

"A crucial five months await Liverpool. For them not to qualify for the Champions League two years on the trot would have severe economic repercussions.

"Michael is now 24 and he is moving into his prime. He needs to be playing at the very highest level of club football."

Although it's a statement of the obvious Owen craves Champions' League football, the striker will not be happy with the timing of these remarks, especially as he has already stated publicly he's ready to stay at Anfield.

He would rather the focus at the moment on his determination to get fit and back on the football field.

Rather than seeking a move, Owen will be pushing for talks to progress having decided he wants to extend his terms at Anfield.

This should help dampen the idiotic speculation about Liverpool's inability to hold on to Owen and/or his dedication to the Reds.

Thats a good article Matt because I'd seen the Holmes interview in the Guardian and my reaction was if Owen "needs to be playing at the highest level of club football" it would help if he was available to help his club get there.

The timing of these issuances is strange since Michael has been unfit for some time.

Now it has always been my contention that all of the folderall about Michael thinking of leaving was aimed at securing him a higher weekly wage packet, at least in a new four year contract. That new contact would then put him in the 18 month Bosman period right about the summer of the German World Cup. He'd still only be 26 or 27 and he could sign any where at that point if he does well for England.

Dunn did the only thing he could have done ('Pool could not appeal a second yellow initiated red card) by rescinding the second yellow on El-Hadji.

Hopefully Diouf will learn to keep his bootlaces tied. Maybe that is why he is so miserable taking shots on goal, eh?

Diouf will still have to face a two-game suspension for yellow card accumulation (10 already!) but it will coincide with the African Nations Cup.

Hopefully he will come back from Tunesia (or wherever they are playing) ready to live up to his "serial killer" moniker.

He'll have to start scoring at a rapid pace thne. No goals in 22 matches this year. Can you say BUST?

Defender leaves on loan

Liverpool's French defender Gregory Vignal has completed a loan move to Spanish La Liga strugglers Espanyol where he will stay until the end of the 2003/04 season.

Vignal spent the first half of this season on loan at French side Rennes but returned to Liverpool over Christmas after a disappointing time.

The left back has now finalised the loan move to Spain after much negotiation and is due back at Anfield in time for pre-season training in July 2004.

Espanyol are currently struggling in La Liga being second from bottom in the table.

As inconsistent as we've been at left back, this is a very telling sign that he's not in GH's plans anymore.

With Jamie coming back he's be our fourth choice LB and remember we've got Whitbread in the reserves.
