Can't be he's captain of Bennin. I know the French will give them to anyone but that would make him eligible for France

Wasn't sure where else to put this, and it diesn't deserve its own thread.

There was a thread for this earlier, but can't be bothered to look it up.

Common sense prevails.

The Ghana international, 23, caught the German midfielder just below the knee with a late tackle during the 0-0 draw but was not punished by the referee.

I love the enthusiasm.

"It is possible to catch them. If we play like we have been doing for the rest of the season we will catch them."

I noticed that this thread was noted as "sticky". I've always wondered what that meant - can anyone tell me?

p.s. my apologies for the off-topic post

It means it's always at the top of the thread list. Only a forum moderator can designate a thread as sticky.

News from the LFC Store:

After promising another production run of this year's European shirts since early October, I saw the following on the website today:

"The demand for the European Shirt has been phenomenal, we sold more shirts in 7 days than we did in 2 years with the last Euro shirt.

Reebok are totally sold out and we are not expecting any further stock."

God damn you, Reebok. I missed out on the gold-trimmed shirts last time (2001-2002?), and Santa was going to bring me one this year. Didn't know I had to order it in the first seven days, lest they disappear forever. Idiots.

At this point, I'd welcome a change to Nike. At least they'd be able to keep their most popular goddamned products in stock for more than a week.

I was just looking at Liverpool's schedule for this month and it says they'll be playing 4 Premiership games in the span of about a week.

26 Dec, 2005 Newcastle United Barclays Premiership H
28 Dec, 2005 Everton Barclays Premiership A
31 Dec, 2005 West Brom Barclays Premiership H
02 Jan, 2006 Bolton Wanderers Barclays Premiership A

Is this just blowback from being let back into the CL?

Is it possible to postpone any of these games?

Nope. This is standard for the Boxing Day and New Year's weeks. Everybody else has the same amount of games.

Uefa's disciplinary panel is set to impose a ban on Chelsea's Michael Essien at a hearing on Thursday.

The 23-year-old is expected to get a one or two-game suspension after the hearing in Nyon.

What's the song you always hear the kop singing after pool takes the lead? It was pretty loud after the second goal on Newcastle, I really can't get it out of my head.

I don't know which song you are referring to. It could be "Fields of Anfield Road" or "We won it 5 times".

This week is Bob Paisley week. Maybe we can start with 3 points against Arsenal.
