Hi All
I won't bore you with why but I need to put together some examples of lyrics where the songwriter(s) have thrown out the normal rules of English in order to shoehorn a rhyme into a song.
For example
You and I would say "I'm in deep trouble" but Madonna has decided that she's in "trouble deep"
or
You and I would say "I'd like to take her home" but Kraftwerk felt obliged to tell you that "It's Understood"
The funnier the better.
Thanks
CM
