we can't allow Valencia to score here. I'll take a 1-0 as well b/c I know we can score there as well and I don't see us conceding more than a goal. I'm really excited about the game.

agreed yasik. I would be very happy with a 1-0 win. The way we defending on Sat may cause a few anxious moments because I think Villa will certinaly make the most of his chances.

yep. I think we are also fortunate Valencia will be missing some key players through suspensions and injuries, especially that bloke Morientes, who I still hate from 3 years ago.

amazing how poor he was for Liverpool after looking great at Real and Monaco. He has put a few as well this season. This is really a tough draw for us, but at this point is there any easy game?

I'm taking the afternoon off for this game and the return next week - need to watch these matches live...

Should be great games.

Yep, that a$$hole and his stunning goal.
They still have enough firepower to hurt us. If this weekend is anything to go by, they will probably murder us, honestly. Then again, as JM says we have to look at Munich and try and repeat that performance.
C'MON CHELSEA.

I'm hoping I'll be able to catch the tape-delayed broadcast at 4, but that's my normal workout time. I love track, but I love Chelsea too. I can't tell my coach I'm sick because then he won't let me race over the weekend. Anybody have any good ideas?

change to a more nocturnal sport, such as owl watching. That way, you won't have to worry about missing afternoon games.

considering our euro away form (averages out to about 1 win a season), we should really try to put this one away early.

According to JM, Essien is still out, Joe Cole and Wayne Bridge are back.
