URGENT, Help Needed getting Tix for Boca v River Plate.......
Hi folks,
I am a Celtic fan who desperately needs to get hold of some tix for the Boca Juniors v River Plate game on 15th April at La Bombanera. Fortune has it that im in Buenos Airies when the game is on and there is no way I want to miss it.
IŽve tried www.tangol.com and www.gofootball.com.ar which are both tourist type agents who deal with such games but they are both sold out.
As a last resort IŽll try and get one on the day of the game but as IŽve got the wife with me IŽd prefer to do it with the safety of an organised tour agent, Im led to believe if youŽre a tourist youŽll be lucky to get out with your underpants on otherwise!!!
Anyway, if anyone can help me to get some tickets I would be extremely grateful and would gladly try and return the favour.
Please email or Private Message me if you can help as Im travelling in Equador at the moment and have limited access to the internet (saves looking for this thread). Also I wont arrive in Buenos Airies until 1 or 2 days before the game.
I hope someone can help me.
Muchas Gracias, Junior!!!

I went on and played the match, gave no instructions to either team. No halftime chat no anything, results are pretty nice :P

If Boca does not win I'll eat my head.
I can't believe that Gallinas actually think they have a good team

Looks like your head will be ok.... cant imagine Boca loosing this after dominating for the first 45...
As I am in Europe I cant follow Boca/Argentean football as much as I want but River are truely shocking! Are they this bad this season or did they just have a shitter of a first half?

They have had for the last 3 seasons. When they still had Lucho and Masch they were ok, now most players suck

Boca just allowed River to play their counter attacking style in the second half. Clemente sucks defensively and he was constantly getting caught out of position. Morel and Cata really came up big.
Of course Carrizo was the MOTM. He saved River's ass on numerous occasions.
Neri was quite bad. Shocking really. His worst performance so far this season.
Boca should have finished it in the first half.

Boca should have won but their failure to get the 2nd goal when they were totally dominating in the first half ultimately cost them. They still had enough chances to win it in the second half (how did Palermo miss that header  ) but you've got to take your chances.

Yep, I guess you could say that Boca should have won, but at the end of the day you guys tied at home, and lost the punta to San Lorenzo in what was probably Schellotos' last game in the bombonera (at least a game that he actually played on). This classico was strange in that Boca played like River teams of past (River would dominate the game, yet Boca would find a way to tie or win in the end). Your main concern going forward from where I sit is Palacios level of play, he hasn't been the same since his injury and although Palermo has more than pick up the slack for him so far, I doubt that he can continue to do so. Also your defense, although solid, is not as strong as Boca's defense of the past, atleast when Clemente plays. Great game by the kid Banega and good first half by Riquelme, if he had kept up in the second half, very hard to do since River started to actually mark him, the result would have been different. So much for all the 3-0, 4-0 predictions some bosteros were dreaming about.

Do you sit around and just imagine all this up and since it makes sense in your bird brain, pun intended, you just go ahead and cluck it. Palacios had played how many games since injury? 2, 3? I dont have the stats but I'm pretty sure he's scored a goal or 2 since he's been back. Regardless most players don't come right out off injury and continue where they left off. Ah $h1t it gets old trying to reason with gallinas cuz you just talk out of your asses. Congrats on your TIE, it seems you're very pleased with that. That tie really helped you...wait no it didn't you guys are still struggling with the middle of the pack teams. Well good luck struggling there in the middle whilst Boca still has fun playing for the lead with San Lorenzo and continue to participate in Libertadores, do you even remember what it feels like to be competitive? LOL CLUCK CLUCK CLUCK!! ;)

Palacio had a bad game but he'll be allright. The previous week he had an awesome game, and he has too much talent. And by all rights he should have scored at least one goal, give credit to Carrizo for coming up huge.
Riquelme played very well, even in the second half, he put some balls for Palermo that should have been goals. He did miss a couple of chances he should have converted, but he also had that free kick that Carrizo stopped with his back leg.
Banegas I felt didn't have one of his best matches, he tried to do too much on his own and almost hurt the team at the end with a couple of careless plays.
But you are right, Boca dominated and let it get away. I felt that River was lucky in that Rosales shot was deflected and so Caranta couldn't get it. It really sucks because I do think Boca has the better team this season, and they should have won, but all we got was a draw. As you say, it happened to River in previous Superclasicos, with Boca stealing results, so I guess it all evens out over time.

Yep, sure buddy. Palacios had a amazing game against Chile too, just keep telling yourself he's having one of the best seasons ever. Look, he's not doing ridiculously terrible like Belluschi, but he's not the Palacios of old. If you stop drinking the coolaid for a minute or two, you would also see this.

uhhh...did anyone read somewhere that I mentioned "he's having one of the best seasons ever"? Wow...do you work for Fox News? Wait! I never said that! So....stfu! And the proper term for coolaid, is Koolaid. Your "point" isn't well made when you finish off with the incorrect spelling for KoolAid. So I laugh at you for being un boludo! :D

:D I knew I needed to lay off the weed. Sometimes I get my english all confused.
And I know you didn't say that, I was using exageration to prove my point that Palacios is not playing up to his potential (partly due to his injury) so that it remains an area for concern for your team otherwise, you have to hope that Palermo and Cardozo can continue to carry the load on offense. All am saying is that it will be a problem for Boca if Palacios continues to play like he did against River or Chile then, on the other hand if he played like he did against Velez, then Boca is a shoe in for the title.
