Hi everyone...

New member here, with a question regarding the SPL.

I'm going to be in Scotland this summer, and was wondering (for planning) purposes when the Fixtures for the 2007-08 season will be made public?

I noticed that in the last 2 seasons, the season began on the last weekend in July. Will that be true again this summer, or has that not been determined yet?

Thanks for any information people can give me. I am looking to take in as many matches as possible while I'm in Scotland.

Hope you enjoy your stay. If you're in Edinburgh take in a Hearts match after a few pints of Heavy in The Diggers - a famous pub, not to be missed!:D

In addition, if there is a certain club you have an eye on, pay attention to their preseason fixture list. It could be a great shot to see the club you want playing a smaller, local club at a more intimate venue. Additionally, be on the lookout for testimonials that bring in bigger clubs. In short, club pages are the way to go, depending on when you are there.

I'll be in Edinburgh in the fall. How far is Easter Road from George square or the Pleasance/Holyrood Rd area?

I think both of those areas are within 1-1.5 miles from Easter Road.

Tynecastle and Easter Road are both very close to these areas, probably ony around a 30-45 minute walk to either or 10 mins in a taxi.
