Don't know if anybody else heard about Man U, Celtic, and PSV having their reps in Mexico to watch the Chivas-Atlas game? I heard that they do, that was on ESPNDeportes radio this morning. Just wondering if anybody else heard of this.

This is good news hopefully for our Nationals! also if the rumour about the Chivas vs Atlas match is truth I think we're gonna have a heck of a game!!!

I was chillin eating McDonalds right now and turned the channel on and Atlas vs Cruz Azul was on so I figured leave it on to watch Guardado in action and after about 5 minutes I could have sworn I heard Jesus Bracamontes say that Guardado's contract was already done and it's for 8 million Euros. He said someone on the street told him and he couldn't say anything else. I wonder who his source is and if it's accurate. I'm thinking he wouldn't say something like that unless he has a darn good source. Really interested to see where he ends up going, if it ends up being a first tier team, or if it's going to be a second tier team.

if guardado does go for eight million euros, he'd be the most expensive mexican player.
so far i think it's rafa marquez going to monaco for six million euros.

I also remember Bracamontes saying Guardado had been negotiated for 8 million Euros.
If the Salcido to Chelsea rumors for 10 million Euros are true, I'd be willing to bet its PSV the team buying Guardado.

Where'd you get the Salcido to Chelsea rumors for 10 million Euros?!
And what's the latest on Guardado?
I personally hope that it's not PSV that got him because I really think that he should start at a higher level then the Dutch league.

As was mentioned before, el Vasco mentioned that he couldnt get Guardado because Atletico Madrid didnt want to pay 8 million Euros-the price that Atlas put on Guardado- I remember during the Mexico-Ecuador game somebody mentioned that PSV put an offer of 5 million Euros for Guardado, I wonder if somebody else pay the 8 million or if PSV went up on their offer.

After seeing atletico today, i wouldnt want guardado to go there. I doubt Aguirre will be there next year, and Atletico will always have that loser mentality especially with Torres as their so called captain
Ive said it a million times, Sevilla is the best choice

Why won't Aguirre be there?
because of La Volpe's incompetencies
Atletico's are already all over Diego Simeone

true but i though this would only come trough if Aguirre wanted to leave, that's what I read. What has been Atletico's place in la liga the last couple of years??

They finished 11th in 04/05 and 10th in 05/06. They are in 6th currently,3 behind Zaragoza and 6 points behind 4th place(which means a spot in the CL) Valencia. Yes they have been inconsistent at times this year, but you have to take into consideration the fact that they lost Maxi and Petrov early in the year. That was a huge blow to Atletico, so for Aguierre to have them in 6th is pretty damn good right now.

Yeah but considering that Atletico bought pretty much everything Aguirre requested, and that with a far, far smaller, podunk team like Osasuna he made it into the CL, I mean... it's not at all inconsiderate to ask Aguirre what can't he do with Kun Aguero, Nino Torres, Porky Maniche, Perea, Mista, Leo Franco, Costinha, Pernia, etc..
Just Kun Aguero is supposed to be a franchise player.
Then again, it's nice to wonder why couldn't he take a Mexican player to Atletico? Will he take Marquez if he is released by Barcelona?
