I have been playing a lot of indoor in a pair of Adidas indoor track racing flats and I must say its much better than any pair of indoor shoes on the market. They are super low to the ground and ultra soft as well as being as stramlined as it gets.

I have had no trouble in striking the ball or with my touch, to be honest my touch and shoot have been a bit more smooth because of the fact that the thin upper puts me so close to the ball.

I am not sure about how long each pair will last because they are not designed for the rigors of indoor but they really are better than any indoor shoe out at the moment.

I am going to make sure the next pair I get are road flats so I can use them on a court surface as well and I am thinking Mizuno or Asics would have a good comfort/cushion level IMO.

If you are looking for a good option beside the run of the mill crap that has become flat soled soccer footwear look at some indoor track flats or road racing flats, they will fit the bill.

I am not talking about standard running shoes either, incase you are confused, I am talking flat track shoes that are used by marathon runners and indoor distance runners, stay away from regualr running shoes or spiked track shoes.

Those are track flats. but i think JC18 means another kind of flat, virtually sock like flat. Extremely thin, low to the ground, slipper look to it. Ive always thought about using them, as i use to run cross country and track, but didnt think they would hold up very well. (for those who dont know, track flats are used essentially for the day of the race only, not meant to train in or wear for long periods of time)
