Great idea! And this is a great place to start! Most of the other fora have such a thread, and we can dedicate this one to our great leader! :D

Rock en Espaņol vrs Regueton?

Mi opinion... rock en espaņol was a criollo movement... regueton is a mulato movement... both from latino america...

Rock en espaņol is dead, nothing they can offer anymore, nothing new. Im up for the new school movement. Yes to regueton :p

Sorry, but reggaeton just sucks majorly. They just use the same beat over and over and just put different lyrics about the same stuff (Seeing a girl at the club and than crying about how much you want her funbox). I can't believe people really listen to that stuff, as the media just hypes it up as being a true art form of music. Rock en espanol was never my cup of tea. But you guys should check out death metal and than come back and post on how much you guys hate it. :D

talking about heroes you know they're gonna be on tour next fall, 10 concerts, it's gonna be great, i remember when they visited my city i was about 12 years old, i was just starting listening to rock.

as far as rock(metal) vs anything else... no comparison.

those of you living in the USA and appreciate rock don't miss black sabbath and megadeth on tour this summer.

I think regeaton is same thing a computo that we had in 90's.

In any case I think rock will live on because of those bands of the 80's and 90's, who here doesn't have some? See my point, I still have Soda, enanitos etcc... on my Ipod. It will still be there because its music you can always listen too. Regaeton is something to only dance or better yet watch the bitches dance. But do really like to listen to it? I don't, it's catchy but its nothing with out the bitches dancing, rock is great with or without the company or dancing. Thats what I'm getting at. Oldies will become classics and classics become eternal!!!:D

I support the NSR forum deal.
And for the record, I listen to both rock en espanol and reggaeton.

Also, if you guys get the NSR forum deal going on, we can hear Feno talk about his gang-bangin' cousins plus Antonio talk about his "cosa-nostra" connections (broma). :p

Thumbs up to CONCACAF NSR forum!
