In Dusseldorf, the German U-21s thanks to a goal by Marcel Heller beat the Czech U-21s, which means the good ol' sweep. This follows victories against Austria (5:2) and Scotland (2:0). Not the most exciting games to watch (it was really like watching England:Israel the other day, ugh), was a bit impressed with Rouwen Hennings. Hummels and Flessers were pretty good in defense too.

Lineup
Neuer-Boenisch-Flessers-Hummels-Bieler-Oezbek-Polanski-Rosenthal-Khedira-Heller-Hennings
46. Aogo for Flessers
46. Beck for Bieler
73. Dum for Khedira
73. Kucukovic for Hennings

What is interesting about this result is that the German players were averagely like 2 years younger since Dieter Eilts only used those born between 1986 and 1988 whereas his Czech counterpart also used several born in 1984 and 1985.

PS: Why did you close the other thread? It wasn't that nasty...

Well I'm gonna quit soon as moderator, might not even come back onto these boards again, I'm just tired of arguing over stuff here, it really is no fun anymore.

If Europe taught me one thing

Arguing on the internet is no fun. Too many people here are too condescending. Its worse when you're the moderator too, every argument seems to be a pissing match. Its ok with your friends and stuff, but here it gets too out of hand. I'll probably stay on say a few words here and hten, but mostly just about Hertha or Everton or China.

We'll see I'll make my decision after my Easter break ;) Hopefully my good luck will return haha.

Anyways, boring match. Probably should have watched Everton reserves play Manchester United reserves, it was that dire. Good result for a mostly U-20 side instead of U-21. Surprised the Eilts went that way, there are quite a few players that he could have called up who play more in the Bundesliga, like Dejagah, Ebert, J. Boateng, Tasci, Kruska, Brzenska. Maybe I'm just biased though ;) but I think that what you saw basically was a U-21 B team. Impressive result for a veritable B team

PS: To get back on topic - very boring U21 match. At least they won...

Yeah i know what you're saying hertha. Some posters take it way too seriously and get personal and drag other stuff into it and the argument goes way longer than it should have been.

everyone's just meant to be having a laugh and discussing a match here that's all, or getting info on certain things you don't know about.

just relax man, stay on.

Aren't you moderating the Germany boards?

It could be worse with World Rivalries. The Germany threads are the most civil on BS as far as I'm concerned. I really don't see anything too out of hand here.

As far as the U-21 team is concerned, I'm impressed by the recent streak of wins with a relatively new team. Let's keep the talent coming.

Well, I understand it, though I would be kind of pissed if you stop modding. :D

Agreed on the condescending part. People need to start being a tad more civil to each other. It's easy to tell someone to ******** off. Being polite to someone while disagreeing with them seems impossible on BS.
