Part of the reason for the Hoo Hoo Howie talk is that XM and Sirius, barring regulatory decision, are merging. Plus rivalry is good for radio.

The last 5 years all Hoo Hoo did was talk about the FCC.

DO you guys think the merger will actually go through? I think the angle and of who they are really competing against and the whole HD radio now being reliquished more frequency by the FCC may push this merger through.

I would love to have all my sports on one receiver! I definately took advantage of all the world cup talk on XM.

The things that sucks is that you;ll have to pay extra to get all your sports on one receiver... Frankly, with O&A and Ron and Fez for free I'm probably going to dump my XM.

I think it'll go through. In the end, the congress knows they need to merge to stay alive and they aren't going to send the two companies into bankruptcy(which is possibly what vetoing the merger would do).

Well i think eventually they will come out with a dual receiver hardware. then no extra will be paid, well that was my understanding of what the plan was going to be.

You can only get O&A for free for 3 hours plus no replays. The XM show is always not as polished which I like. There FM show they hold back a little more and don't let loose as much.
