$55+ per ticket (minimum 2)? I miss the days when they fought TM and tickets were only $28-$30. Q

Yeah, I know. At least they're good seats though. I was listening to the Chicago 1995 show last week (www.pearljamlive.com) and Ed pointed out to the guys in the suites and said:

"There's some fancy people in the skybox ... they're blinking to us, sending us a message up there." The crowd boos and he tells them not to get angry: "... you know life has a way of working itself out, you know? Think about this for a sec, right? These are the rich, fancy people, right? They got all the luxury, right? Looks to me, like they're the farthest ones away from the stage and they're behind a f*c*in' window ... you hang in the trenches long enough, it pays off ..

Jim is the exception to this rule. I'd rather use my 10C seats, but I know he'd rather hang out in the lawn.

And those are in US funds too. :(

That's the way it was on the last US tour though. You had to buy 2 seats (only 2 per night, but unlimited nights were allowed), but at least you could sell your other ticket to a friend for face value.

Ok guys, time to bump the Pearl Jam blog to the top.

Got some good news and some bad news. No, no, Ed, Mike, Stone, and everyone else is ok. *phew*

10C membership is being increased to $20 a year. But, you can still beat the increase by re-upping (or signing on for the first time) by July 1st. "You can renew or join before July 1 to avoid the rate increase for the coming year."

And, they also have some exciting plans on the horizon.

I knew I forgot something.

:( x 9

I know someday you'll have a beautiful life.
I know you'll be a star in somebody else's sky but why, why, why can't it be, oh, can't it be mine?

"This is so painful…I think we are all waiting for someone to wake us and say it was just a horrible nightmare…

"And there are absolutely no words to express our anguish in regard to the parents and loved ones of these precious lives that were lost.

"We have not yet been told what actually occurred, but it seemed to be random and sickeningly quick…it doesn't make sense.

"When you agree to play at a festival of this size and reputation it is impossible to imagine such a heart-wrenching scenario.

"Our lives will never be the same, but we know that is nothing compared to the grief of the families and friends of those involved.

"It is so tragic…there are no words.

"Devastated,

5 years ago, yesterday (6/31). It's still 6/31 somewhere in the world though. Chicago and Dallas and all points west.

There's a track list floating around in cyberspace (possibly multiple lists), however has the real one been released? The answer is fake. The real tracklisting is yet to be released.

I know some of you have missed this little thread, hell you've probably forgotten about it, but WE HAVE NEWS!

As you know, they've been in South America (http://bootlegs.pearljam.com), Canada before that, and they're going to Australia. It seems weird that they're going there and they haven't been to Europe since 2000, but things have weird ways of working out. I guess they really liked Australia. So if you want to plan a vacation to the land down under, do so towards the later half of next year. (Heck, you'll be in Germany in the summer, just make a stop in Australia if things work out that way.)

Oh, you want more? Did I say something about news?

Yeah. I think I can deliver some holiday cheer around here Pearl Jam style.

It should arrive in mailboxes in early February (a bit longer if you live outside the USA.)

And we have a tracklisting:

Side A - Little Sister (with Robert Plant; live at HOB in Chicago)
Side B - Gone (demo version)

Been a long time without an update, so here's one.

If you haven't received your single yet, they've been sent. Postmarked from Portland, Oregon, they should hopefully get to your mailbox by the 28th. That's my best guess. Obviously, if you're a 10 Club member who lives overseas, wait just a bit longer.

Also, the site (www.pearljam.com) and store are undergoing maintenance. So, they might be down temporarily.

Also if anyone sees this in the next hour or so:
Go to www.RadioFaction.com, and clicking the *LISTEN* button for a free three day trial. Ed's on there talking with surfer Kelly Slater.

I got my single today.

Also, this is from the Pearl Jam forums:

I was recently working on a great Guacamole recipe for an upcoming Chili Cook-Off and got a visit from a little birdy who told me that Ten Club members should make sure their dues are paid and check that all addresses are up-to-date. You can manage your membership information by logging into your profile on www.pearljam.com in the Goods section. And - if someone's not a member yet, why not? It really is a good deal, ya know? Be ready for News, luvs.

Love,
Kat and Sea

Apparently Tim Bierman said something similar two weeks ago. And it is also a week until March (which, according to some people features the new album release.)

There's also a lot of rumblings about March 1st, more specifically at noon, Seattle time.

I haven't heard anything about Boom, but it sounds like he's back as well.
