Hey, at least I got better than average.

Finally, on LO2L when they play Even Flow, that was from the infamous "Ping Pong Show" which was apparently a pretty damn good show (but aren't they all?) It also featured a cross-dressing Mike McCready (who doubled as the ping pong ref), and Rancid's "Time Bomb" as one of the tags on Daughter.

7 discs for $35 isn't bad. I honestly expected it to be a lot more.

Yeah I bought the Gorge set, I just can't resist buying anything official like this.

PJ in Madrid in a few days, should be incredible as always.

Also, Kryptonite, I didn't realize you posted that about that Coral Sky concert. My best friend's brother and to this day he says it's the best pearl jam concert he's been to. Mind you he came with us to MSG on 7/8/03. The famous "longest title in the pearl jam catalogue" is also from West Palm. Some great shows there over the years. Sad they havent come to the south for this tour :(

There was a rumor about a southern US tour this summer, but with the band being in Europe next month, those rumors may have died.

And yes, the LO2L disc is probably the best live release the band did, if not one of the best. (And yes, I do have the last night in Seattle in 2000, as well as the Vegas 10 year anniversary show.)

Well, PJ was pretty awesome in Madrid. They had to cut their set a little short so that people could get back before the metro closed, but it was still an awesome show (aren't they all?).

Porch opener was simply incredible, I hadn't seen that yet live (as an opener). Black was definitely a highlight with Spanish actor Javier Bardem introducing it, and then a really extended doo doo doo dooo doo at the end. Also, I have to point out Not For You, it really rocked out. I had never heard it live and I was really surprised by it.

It was general admission and by the end of porch I was pretty much right at the front, great stuff all around.

Cant wait for Lollapalooza :)

Yeah I know, I really lucked out. I had a trip to Chicago scheduled from a while back for a conference, and when I found out that PJ was headlining Lollapalooza around those dates I was overjoyed.

Well guys, a birdie spoke to me today:

1) Change your clocks back on Saturday night.
2) Make sure your mailing address is current over at pearljam.com, if you're a member of the 10 Club. ;)

Hint -- The second one is really big. It's nearing the holiday season, isn't it?

Pearl Jam has announced a ten date East Coast tour, which begins June 11th in West Palm Beach, FL and wraps up June 30th in Mansfield, MA.

A Ten Club pre-sale for eligible members will begin on Monday, March 24th at 9am PDT. You must be an active member of the Ten Club by Wednesday, March 19, 2008 to qualify for the pre-sale ticket opportunity. We will stagger ticket sales to control web traffic, so please pay attention to the corresponding pre-sale dates and times. Pre-sale tickets are first come first serve, while supplies last. Pre-sales for any available tickets will remain open until Friday, March 28th at 5pm PDT.

Tickets for the general public will go on sale through Ticketmaster.com and all Ticketmaster outlets. Public on-sale information will be posted on pearljam.com in the near future.

Ten Club tickets will be available online only at www.tenclub.net/goods with a Visa or Mastercard as the only acceptable form of payment. No phone, mail or email orders. Two tickets per show/per member will be allowed. No single tickets are sold through the Ten Club. The base ticket price will vary per show, plus additional venue and handling fees.

Tickets will be allocated by seniority within the Ten Club, meaning the longer you have been an active member, the closer your seats will be to the stage. However, for this tour, we are implementing a slight change - rows 1-2 and rows 9-10 will now be RANDOM distribution. This means regardless of your member number you will have a chance of occupying seats within those random rows. We thank all of our diligent, loyal fans for accepting this change gracefully. Please share the love.

Everything else is the same; Tickets will be distributed on the day of the show at the box office of the venue. The fan club member, not the cardholder, must be present to collect the tickets. No exceptions. All sales are final. NO refunds. NO exchanges. NO transfers. Reselling of Ten Club tickets will result in revocation of all future ticket privileges and suspension of your Ten Club membership.

Click here http://tenclub.net/tenclub/tickets.php for information on the official rules, policies, and procedures for purchasing tickets from the Ten Club. We highly recommend that you read these details before purchasing tickets to a show so you are aware of how the ticketing system will work for you!

The opening act for dates June 11-17 will be Kings of Leon. Opening act for dates June 19-30 will be Ted Leo and The Pharmacists.

All dates and times are subject to change.

I've had nothing but bad luck whether it's money or timing issues with Pearl Jam. Finally they're coming back to NYC. I can't effin' wait to see them. It's my time now to finally get to see them (and for the first time)

Maybe you'll get lucky and be in one of those randomly-selected seats.

And why are they doing this? I guess the band was complaining that it was always the same people up front, and so the 10 Club decided to put some new blood up there. Let some different people dance around, maybe someone who isn't tired of hearing Even Flow, Jeremy, or Daughter.

I hope the idea works. It sounds like fun.

I let my membership expire a little over a year ago and now they implement this policy. I think the closest I ever got with senority was 5th row in Albuquerque.

Do they have a new album coming out?

The most recent was Pearl Jam, with the avacado on the front. Songs off it included Worldwide Suicide, Life Wasted, and Wasted Reprise.

Ed did a solo album featuring music from Into the Wild, which was a movie released last year. He was (or is??) going on a solo tour on the west coast.

I think they might be starting work on something new.

I have no idea why this tour is taking place.

5th row in Albuquerque. Was that the one where they brought the kid up on stage to dance around and drum to Free World? -- At least that's the one I'm thinking of, off the Touring Band 2000 DVD.

They did say distribution of these rows would be random. I'd say you have as good as chance as me...I joined before the Riot Act tour. Without looking it up, I think it was in 03. (I'd still be in the back.)

Wikipedia states that the band got together this year for a week to come up with ideas for a new album.

Past and Present Tense.

This has a bunch of good stuff.

Against the '70s, All Along The Watchtower, Betterman (Molo Sessions -- Same one as Xmas single a few years ago), Brother (Rough Mix), Croon Spoon, Dirty Frank, Drifting, Felicity's Surprise, Guaranteed (several different versions), Hard Sun (five different versions), Leatherman, No Ceiling, and a whole lot more!

Note -- You'll probably want at least a 30 gig iPod. I downloaded this to my 30 gig and it took up quite a bit of room.

Rapid Share also has daily download limit. Factoring in time for work, sleep, eating, and other stuff, it could take a week to download all these parts. (At least you can put it on CD, iPod, or whatever as you download the rest.)

Thanks for that. Great to hear they're working on new material.

Man that Bonnaroo set was killer. I'm pissed I couldn't go.

I went last week to the West Palm and Tampa shows. The West Palm show was different, I think the crowd wasn't into the obscure setlist, which I loved obviously. Who You Are was a great treat and I've always been dying to hear Faithfull.

The Tampa show rocked out real hard. The crowd was on fire and the band was loving it. I'm going to D.C. on Sunday, and then MSG II later on. I'm still working on tickets for MSG I. Should be a blast.
