Hello mates, really nobody here interested in this game at Hampden?  Simply can't believe it...

Bad half time result: only 1:1 :(

Let's hope you'll get the important win after interval.

Looks like I'll have another goal to watch on YouTube over and over again (along with the goal against France).

We're still on pace with France and the Ukraine (who are 3 points back with one less game played) and we're the new Unofficial World Champions.

The game is over. What an important last-minute goal from the Celtic striker Craig Beattie!

Scot Brown was brilliant when he came on, he must start against Italy.

Really not a fan of Teale (although he set up the first goal well) or McCulloch. The full-backs were poor defensively, Miller and Boyd didn't link well. Plenty of negatives but we got the right result. McManus was fine. Ferguson was class.

Come on Lithuania!

Not a great performance by any means but we contained them adequately, and what an important goal that was.

Brown was fantastic, indeed, a must-start.

McCulloch was OK, he's a bit robotic at times. Weir wants shot for giving away the first goal. Alexander made too many mistakes.

I'm very happy with the three points and not too downheartened by the performance; remember we had several injuries.

i thought we made things difficult for ourselves. missed too many chances (teale, miller and boyd all had good opportunities that you would expect players at this level to score) and then gave away a soft goal.

i was surprised that beattie came on for boyd, at that stage i was expecting miller to go off, but beattie took his goal well and it was a great result in the end.

one more thing, i have never been a fan of playing at hampden, but the atmosphere today was electric. i was in the 'expensive seats' (cause i was too slow in getting my form in for the more reasonably priced seats) with the so called 'suit and tie brigade', but even there everyone was going nuts.

Nice one. I didn't realise that Uruguay had lost to Georgia

Cheers.:D

I thought the French might do us another favour and slip up in Lithuania but it wasn't to be. This group is still tight as ever.

The performance wasn't great but what did people expect? Let's not get carried away here, nobody in the world can expect to turn up and thrash Georgia. Italy and Ukraine didn't and they've just beaten Urauguay and Turkey (who are pissing all over their Euro group).

I thought we were the better of the two sides, we played attacking football, created quite a few good chances (which admittedly were missed) and won the game. And we're still top of the group of Death for ******** sake. I would certainly have taken that and it's a million miles away from where we were two years ago.

Wouldn't a cerain neighbour to the south just love to have our problems.:)

p.s. Do England sing "Are you Scotland in disguise" when they're losing now?
