Short profiles of Michael Mancienne & Jimmy Smith from queensparkrangersfc.com
Michael Mancienne
...It took Mancienne a few games to settle into the side but during December he produced some outstanding performances. Mancienne started the month at right back where he looked comfortable but it was the switch to move him into the middle which has changed many peoples opinion of him. Compared to John Terry when he arrived the comparison looked more likely with him in the middle as he dominated in the air and read the game well to held Rangers keep a clean sheet against Barnsley and keep things tight against league leaders Birmingham.
Mancienne recently extended his loan until the end of the season so it will be interesting to see if he can continue his recent improvements and he looks likely to have a great future in the game.
---
Jimmy Smith
...Smith came to Loftus Road as a highly regarded midfield similar in many ways to Frank Lampard and he certainly lived up to that billing early on. Smith scored on his full debut against Norwich City and followed that up with a brilliant goal against Derby a few days later. His goal scoring continued and they were usually spectacular as he scored two against Palace and his fifth goal of the season against Luton.
Smith looked a different class going forward but has since struggled to impose himself in games and has come in for a little criticism for his performances. He is still a very talented youngster though and looks to have a big future ahead of him.

On-loan Wycombe Wanderers midfielder Anthony Grant has been offered a new contract by Chelsea.
this one surprised me a little bit, but if the contract is there, well done to him.

I'm not really surprised about that. I been reading occasionally comments from Wanderers fans and they talk very well about him. He is still needs to learn more about his position but according to them he is definitely good.

And this comes from an Ajax fan, don't make me laugh. And to top it off you are a Spurs fan so apart from being an hypocrite you are also bitter, seriously deluded and a supporter of lost causes, good for you.

Yes im not here to defend Feyenoord, but these things happen to Ajax also. We have a very good and famous youth academy, but in the last couple of years some big clubs like Arsenal, Chelsea and Real Madrid try to steal our best youngster before they even played a single game in the first team...
As you probably know Ajax isn't capable of atracting the big player's to come and play in Holland, so we have to be creative and rely on our youth academy. So when some big clubs come and try to lure our youngster to their club it pisses me of big time! We pay for their education and train them for many years, but other clubs take the benefits... See my point?
And i'm not here to provocate anything, just because im a Spurs fan doesn't mean we can't have a decent discussion... If not, that's from your part then!
Greetings!
