Tim Velten and Lesley Fellinga will both be with the Haitian national team in Miami. Both players currently playing in Holland, have yet to play for Haiti but are eager to play for the national team for the upcoming CONCACAF Gold Cup. Fellinga and Velten were both born in Haiti but were later adopted to families in the Netherlands. The article mentions that they did play for the Netherlands at youth level and they're currently playing for FC Groningen and BV Veendam.

Haiti's roster will be made up of a couple newcomers including 1 or 2 players from U-20 squad that will try to make the Gold Cup roster. Among those who will be making their returns to the squad will be Jean Jacques Pierre and Fabrice Noël. Both Josué Mayard and Stephane Guillaume will be unavailable for the match.

Is this Panama's B team? It seems like they are calling in a lot of domestic based players.

Well, a national team supposes to have mostly players from the national league(s). Players who play in foreign leagues can be called to reinforce the national team. Unfortunately, many here tend to call B-, C-... Z- teams, national teams whose rosters don't have certain known players either because those players are unavailable or they simply refuse to play for their national teams.
In this vein, Mexico, Costa Rica, Honduras rarely have an A-team. Cuba is an eternal B-team as Cuban players in foreign leagues never go back to Cuba :)

I'm just asking because I thought that during world cup qualifying and the Gold Cup Panama used mostly foreign based players.

Why don't we just rename Baltimore SC to the defacto Haitian national team? :D

I did not realize we have so many Baltimore's players in the national team :) Gosh! Apparently, the clubs of the capital no longer rule Haitian football.
