Greetings, BigSoccer Yids:

Thought it was about time I registered and posted here. Mostly I hang around the 2G's board, but there are hardly any Yids on there, so I'll be in here for some in-depth Spurs chat. Nice place you got here.

Been a Spurs fan since I was a kid. Lived in Essex, England until moving to the US 10 years ago. Really picked up interest in footie again about 5 years back when FSN/FSC arrived in my area (Philly suburbs).

Besides, I figured after that 'sell Ledley' thread you guys needed me. ;)

Welcome, Phillyspur.

I'm originally from across the river in South Jersey, so Philly's in my heart. It's comfortable to be a Spurs supporter since I'm accustomed to having my heart broken year after year when my Philly teams show so much promise, yet always fall short! ;)

It's a good year to be a Spur - quarters or better of 3 competitions, heading for Europe again. COYS!

nonsense. hauler is not hated, by any stretch.

that said, if you have any inclinations toward starting threads like "aaron lennon is worthless stool" or "bill nicholson was a steaming queer", you may want to give it a second thought.

I'm sick of the Chelsea-bias of the 2 Gs board myself, plus the fact that there are 2 posts a day.

For all of you that are interested. Spurscommunity.uk.co is a Spurs specific site. Hauler, do not go there and post the Sell King thing - they will put a hit on you :).

Also Cock on Ball is a good Spurs specific podcast and Footballfans.com has a Spurs specific podcast

And thanks for those tips, cdmphy. That Pete Brown, eh? I've learned to take him with a pinch of salt, like when he said Spurs were in the same kind of trouble as West Ham, because we were in, what, 11th place at the time.

Yeah I haven't even been back since I compared him to Cohen. I imagine that went over well :)

No worries. As I said, j/k. But when I see 'gents' or 'lads' I usually remind folks there are women here to talk footy too ;) We don't all just care about who's hot and whose not. When you've been here as long as me, it becomes a bit of a habit.
